Murad Essential-C Eye Cream SPF 15 | PA++, 0.5 Fl Oz

I really wanted to love this because I've had a great experience with every Murad product I've used prior. However, it felt like cutting basketball-sized onions every time I applied it to my undereye area. Initially, I thought maybe it would just take some time to build up a tolerance for the formulation, which isn't an unusual expectation for products that contain strong ingredients used in sensitive areas.However, after a month of consistent morning-time use, the stinging pain never abated. It made my eyes water uncontrollably, so I could never put on any eye makeup. It was even difficult to wear my eyeglasses right after applying this stuff because they seemed to keep the "fumes" closer to my eyes. I tried my best not to rub or touch my eyes, but my entire eye area would still become red and puffy, just from my physical reaction to the product.Being a bit of a skincare junkie, I've used more eye creams than I can count at this point, and I've never encountered something so ill-suited to be used anywhere near the eye area. Maybe this would make a great facial sunscreen? I'll never know because I threw it in the trash.

my FAVORITE eye cream, because it has SPF in it. If you get this too close to your eyes, it may burn though, as it has retinol in it. I am a licensed esthetician who used to work with MURAD. You only need about half a pump FOR BOTH eyes!!! Little goes a long way

I really love this stuff. Despite spending a fortune on eye creams, I noticed my eyes aging quite badly around 3 years ago with lots of fine lines appearing, heavy bags and dark circles. I started wearing this every day and the damage as completely stopped (no new lines), the circles have gone and the bags are less puffy. I do believe prevention is the best policy and that this SPF eye cream has protected my eyes from further sun damage. It's also great for my sensitive skin and doesn't make my eyes water like other products I've tried. I wouldn't use anything else on my eyes now.

I’ve been using this product for over four years. It is the only under eye moisturizer I will ever use. It helps with wrinkles, dark circles and smoothness. It is a perfect foundation for concealer and provides a lasting smoothness that never causes makeup to crease or fade. There’s no scent and it NEVER causes eyes to water or burn. It’s PERFECT in every way.

After reading the reviews, I was hoping that this would be the eye-area sunscreen that would work for me. Alas, it did not, and unfortunately, I waited to try it too late to return it. I can't speak to whether it helps with "anti-aging" since it started stinging my eyes about an hour after I put it on. (On outer lids and lower "eye pad" area underneath my eyes. I never tried it directly on my eyelids.) To stop the burning, I had to remove it with soap and water. I tried it a few times--same results every time.

Unfortunately I was allergic to the product. So I’m not writing a good or a bad review.

Got a sample of this at Sephora and really liked it, but didn't want to pay the price in the store. As always, Amazon came through with the best price.It takes the puffiness out from under my eyes in the morning and smooths out fine lines. I only use about half a pump....a little goes a long way! I have sensitive skin and do not have any negative reaction to this cream. Planning on trying some other Murad products when my others run out.

Works good the only good under eye cream with sunblock it's been worth it to me

Be careful when applying this cream near the eye. It irritates quite strongly making the eye sting and stream for around an hour. It is too early to judge the effect.

J'ai acheté ce produit le mois de fervrier 2017 et comme j'avais une creme a finir avant de l'entammer j'ai attendu jusqu'a maintenant et quand je l'ai deux fois j ai eu sensation de picotement donc j'ai decidé de verifier le produit et la boite et la je suis surprise je trouve que le produit m'a eté envoyé avec unde date d'expiration deja passée avant meme que je l'achete je suis vraiment decu parceq'il coute asser cher .

The delicate eye area can be one of the first areas to show ageing and we are warned not to use too heavy an eye cream in this area as that in itself can cause fluid retention and puffiness. I tend to sleep badly and get dark circles under the eyes and a general puffy look if I haven't had enough rest. This eye cream is good for both and like other Murad products I've used is very effective and is absorbed easily. Their only drawback is the price but I use the face moisturiser in the same range and one tube has lasted me months. A little goes a long way.I also appreciate the SPF 15 in this eye cream which caused my sensitive skin no problems, nor did I have any stinging, which I sometimes get from other SPF creams when they make their eventual journey into my eyes. The cream comes in a pump which is good for hygiene - dipping one's finger is a pot can introduce bacteria. It's an excellent product which I shall be tapping into my eye area for day use and using my other Murad eye cream as part of my night routine.
