I've now purchased six or seven of these boxes. Of excellent quality, they are large enough to hold numerous trout flies yet small enough to easily fit in a vest pocket. Too small for many streamers, however.

Looks well made although have not tried it for a season yet., easy to put in and take out flies.

Good box, good price. Construction feels plenty solid. I like the 'sawtooth' cut on the foam - this helps guide the hooks into place.I agree with others that it's a bit on the small side. The internal dimensions are 4 15/16" X 2 3/4" ... something to consider.Got mine loaded up with about 24 streamers and wooly buggers (most about size 8 or 10). It's a bit small for that use, but does the job. Of course, you could fit a lot more flies depending on hook size, hackle style, length, etc.. Not especially good for flies longer than 3". Probably optimal for hook sizes in the 12-18 range.To the manufacturer, if this box was available bigger, say with external dimensions about 6 3/4" X 4" ... that would be awesome.

A great buy for any fly guy. This box got googlie eyes from my fishing buddy on our last trip, and he couldn't believe what I paid for it here on Amazon. The foam is softer than some, but be gentle with your flies and you're set. Holds all I need and more for a day of backcountry wild water fishing Tenkara or on the reel, and fits in my hip pocket without issue. Waterproof by my standards (dropped it in the river, it floated, buddy grabbed it, and there was no water in it). Just buy it and forgo the logo and the brand name. You know it came from the same factory.

It was just what I was looking for , to organize my ice fishing lures for panfish .

quality item for a great price. foam holds ice jigs firmly in their place. latch and seal are good. I didn't submerge the product but it got wet and nothing inside got wet. I would love to get one of the larger size and the smaller size as I am OCD with my tackle and between the 3 I could easily keep my ice jigs neatly organized and safe. Buy it!!

i like size and build quality

Work well and the surface holds flies. One note is to be careful with the rubber sealer around the edges as it seems to pull out. A small dab of glue does the trick.
