Octane Lighting 5-3/4 RGB SMD Multi-color White Red Blue Green LED Halo Angel Eye Headlights Set

I put these in my 1966 Buick Special, and, at the car shows, the lights attract more people than the car does. Just be aware of local restrictions for your location (Using the red or blue on the road is illegal in our area). The housings that replace your old headlights don't have the glass tabs to correctly orient the housings in the headlight bucket, so you have to use the logo on the front of the housing to correctly orient them, and then watch as you put the stainless trim rings on to be sure the housing don't shift. They come with halogen bulbs to put in the housings, but I chose to put in LEDs instead. With my car, there was enough room behind the headlight bucket to use either style bulb. The lights come with a remote to control the angel eye's colors (seven to choose from), and the lighting pattern (steady-on, flashing from one color to the next, or fading from one color to the next. Some of the buttons on the remote are intuitive, others are not, and there were no instructions with the remote. The remote has several "DIY" buttons that would seem to indicate that you could program them, but with no instructions, you're left to figure that out on your own (I haven't tried to figure that out yet for myself). The angel eyes can be wired into your turn signals if you like, so they will operate with the turn signals, but you would lose some of the programmed functionality in that configuration. I've had them installed now for a couple months and they work great. At the car shows, I can leave the angel eyes turned on for three to four hours and they don't seem to drain the battery at all. I would consider buying another set for one of my other cars.

Installation was easy. No modifications needed on my 66 chevelle . Ordered the harness as well , but the red, and white LEDs don’t work on one set . And the colors don’t match . Next day customer service was amazingly responsive and shipped a new set ASAP . For the price and customer service can’t find better .

These were an easy and straightforward install. I did replace the halogen bulbs that came with the product with LED bulbs. Also, when installing on older quad headlight cars. I recommend getting the options wiring kit. No cutting or splicing. Plus that comes with a relay to run power from the directly from the 12V source.

The lenses had small brackets on the backside of the edge I had to cut off to install on my 1976 Toyota Hilux RN23.There was no instructions and the paper for the controller was of little help. I couldn't figure out the control box power wiring so I just used the one. after connecting it all up it works great and very bright does what I wanted it to do and then some. would be better if there was a turn signal input on the controller.

A pretty cool light kit, i was hesitant about spending the money but glad i did.

Installed in 72 gto, no modification whatsoever, nice solid looking halo’s. Had issues with one of the 4 halos initially not matching colors when changed. Seller promptly sent replacement

Great value for the money. Good customer service. I had one halo that was pink when others were red. They quickly sent a replacement.Major Con: These are not rgbw lights even though it states white, red, blue, green. I asked customer service if one of thier rgbw controllers would and they told me yes but that was not the case. They did offer to take it back with refund.
