Set just arrived. Came quicker than expected. Extremely nice quality, excellent chrome, good broach on sockets. Excellent appearance.I thought the price was a steal. I bought it for the Lake Home. I see that SK is trying to make a come back. First SK stuff that I have bought in twenty years. Looks almost (almost) as good as my Snap on Tools. Looks like Amazon is really selling tools at fantastic prices. Will start looking at Amazon for run of the mill tools when I need them. Always appears at the door quicker than stated. Keep up the good work. Also just bought the JH Williams screwdrivers for the Lake. Look exactly like my Snap On ones at home. Extremely good price.Used the set for the first time on my boat (oct 8 2016) - worked extremely well. My friend also liked them (we both have lots of snap on and old craftsman)Also an additional comment is do not buy craftsman. Bought a 200 pc set for use at my hunt camp - tools are now junk compared to what they used to be.

As with my other review of SK socket sets, these are great tools for the price. They have good quality chrome, and the blow molded cases are excellent for keeping all of your sockets in one place and not lost. These will last a lifetime if taken care of and kept in the original case as designed. The quality is on par with all of the other big truck tools offered. Buy with confidence. I have been using these socket sets for a very long time in a shop with heavy use, and they have never failed me. Save money over other truck offerings- these are just as nice and I have never had to have one replaced due to breakage. The chrome is heavy and polished, and they clean up well when done working. Looks like new after much use if you keep them clean and dry. Any socket will rust if not taken care of and exposed to elements. Clean and store properly and you will have these for a lifetime. I have every other brand in my tool boxes, and these are my favorite.

I had a good set of USA made cratsman for years until they grew feet and was quite happy with them. The las few years i been to cheap to replace them with any thing decent and went the harbor freight route. while harbor freight does replace broken tools i found my self stopping the job and making 3 or 4 trips everytime i tried to do something which got old. bought my self 3 sets of these SK sockets and could not be happier. quality os better than my old craftsman and on par with snap ons i use at work. ratchets are very solid but my personal preference i dont like these style of ratches so i bought 3 of the all metal style german made wera's to use with these couldnt be happier.

Only after a couple months some of the sockets are rounded out and the swivel already broke. Sk isn’t what it use to be. Very poor quality

I love this set. I bought it to have an entire set to bring outside with me when I work on stuff. I was sick of having to run back to my toolbox every time I needed a new size or extension. The set is really complete with everything you need, extensions, sizes etc. The little round hand socket wrench is amazing and is one of my favorite tools now, works great to get in tight spots and works great to switch to after nut or bolt is broke loose. Overall the ratchet's work great and the socket and extension quality is very nice. The set has an amazing quality chrome job as well and they look very nice.

Love these tools. Quality of truck brands at a fraction of the cost. Made in USA which is a huge bonus. BTW, there has been a lot of complaints about chrome irregularities on individual sockets. Turns out, this is not a problem with the chrome (which is beautiful) but of overspray of the anti-rust coating on the inside of the socket (dull silver). Some of this seems to spatter onto the outside making the finish look mottled. One or two swipes with fine steel wool removes this and leaves the item looking perfect!

I've had this socket set for a couple of months now so it's premature to rate their value or durability. Having said that, I've used the ratchet and several of the sockets since receiving them and have been very impressed by their nearly perfect fitof nuts and bolts which should increase their durability and service life. I'll definitively continue replacing my older, warn out tools with S&K products.

Nice overall set. Was expecting perfection or near it for the price. Fell a little short.Was not thrilled that the sockets were all disheveled upon arrival. This caused what I see as a few scratches and minute surface flaws in the chrome finish.This could have been avoided with a 2 cent piece of foam over the metal pieces and sandwiched in the closed case.Also there was smudgy overspray of whatever is used on the inside of the socket that appeared as small drops on a few of the sockets.A few minutes with a blue (stainless steel safe) scotch bright spounge / pad and most of it came off.I would have expected a QA or packing step would have prevented this.We shall see how they work. They do feel nice in the hand.
