I bought this product because I was searching for some kind of radio that operates without the need of being held in my hand. So it fulfill my first need. I also wanted a product that won't allow me or anybody else to forget and carry it on. Once you put this in your wrist, you will be set to use it. Another requirement was that it has to have VOX options. Which it does. The range I tested it must be in the 1to two miles range. Sound is not perfect but good enough for what you would espect from this kind of radios. Just don't wait it to be clear as a landline. No walkie would be. They came with a rechargeable battery charged to last as long as about a day. Maybe this was the problem another reviewer mistakenly points as hardware failure. Maybe it was a discharged battery.All in all, this is a good product. For what it is.

They worked well at first but within 1 week of the the Walkie Talkies stopped working altogether. They were purchased as a gift and I was dissapointed with this purchase.

Reaches the distance it needs right now, but as my grandson starts making friends a little further in the neighborhood they won't reach! Love the idea he doesn't forget it and leave it somewhere. Good product

My dad is rather elderly and incontinent so my parents sleep in separate rooms. They need communication devices in case of an emergency and this is perfect for them. Works great for their needs.

Man let me tell you, these jive turkeys sold me these watches and I can even program them, I like all kinds of gadgets but dam I might as well call Maxwell Smart for help with these things. got them for my boys for Christmas and it's March 2014 and yet I can't get these watches programed, might as well get two soup cans and some strill and make some two way radio (old school)

I had gotten them for work because I'm on a blow truck with tom. I jad hopped that they could have reached from an attic to the back of the truck.So here is some improvements to make them have a real world application instead of a novelty value.At least a three times better antenna.Better speaker and microphone.Also i recommend blue tooth support and a better wrest band.

These were a huge hit at Christmas - kids loved them. Nice quality. Good delivery time. Expensive but think they will last a while unlike so much of the plastic toys.

These are still in the box as where the battery goes the lid keeps falling off and doesn't really close that's why they are still in the box.
