Life Gear Mini Glow Lantern, great for camping & fun for kids

Lantern has three modes. First mode, the top part lights up and is very bright. Second mode, the bottom part lights up only and is a dimmer red light. Third mode, the bottom red part blinks (almost like a caution or emergency light). Lantern is perfect for little hands as it is pretty small, but powerful, and requires 4 batteries. Held up well for a sleep over party with 4 seven-year old boys. Would highly recommend.

This is wonderful! ABout as tall as a kids plastic cup but oh so bright! It has a solid or blinking red light on the bottom half and a bright LED light on the top. 3 settings. First turns on the solid red light on the bottom, second starts it blinking and then the third turns off the red light and turns on the LED white light on top. Just got this and will see how it works in my son's bedroom tonight. He shouldn't be complaining about being sacred with this thing on! I bet I could almost light a room with this little lantern.

Works great. Didn’t use any other setting except the normal one. Gives good light.

These lanterns rock! They are one of the best cheap lanterns I have ever used for camping, what with their three-way functions: LIGHT, RED LIGHT and FLASHING RED LIGHT. The one I bought at Walmart several years ago started malfunctioning a little, so I went to buy another one. Of course, Walmart doesn't carry them anymore so I had to buy a couple online. Now the original decided to start working again! ha ha But I feel rich because I own THREE of them now! :)

First of, the lantern requires 4 AAA batteries and not 4 AA batteries as displayed.Then is was too small. I had wanted to give it as a gift to my elderly aunt but I could not because it looked like a toy for my 7 year old daughter. Please could you include the length and width of the lantern in your display box? And please correct the battery info on display.Thanks

Quite bright for indoor use, not so great in the forest. We use it as a night-light now. The primary setting is good for reading, and the red setting works well for stumbling to the bathroom without killing your night-vision. The handle is too small to be much use for carrying it, but works well for hanging. I wouldn't recommend if you're looking for something to carry with you outdoors, but to illuminate a tent or a bedroom it's perfectly adequate.

Bright! So tiny and so powerful. You can’t beat this for the price. Storing these is a breeze cause they are so small. They are perfect for us to illuminate just enough to see diring a storm. I wouldn’t recommend to play cards or do tasks, but they are fine for lighting the way down the hall or bath.

Lanterns are cute, but unfortunately, they did not work. looks like wires are not attached inside. The kids were excited to use on a campout. Put new batteries in them and...nothing. Seems like others had the same problem. Very cheaply made.

I had a much greater respect for Life Gear products before this purchase (as I own multiple products). I realize it may be a faulty product but only the red light on the bottom half works. The sautering that connects the battery to the main white light portion came loose. I will attempt to fix it myself but I was disappointed in this product.
