GoSiliSilicone Spoon Set, Nontoxic and Dishwasher Safe, 2 Count

I purchased this, because I needed something for my 1 year old to use for self feeding after the cutie spoovel was recalled last year. I was very happy to find thiutensils, but it didn't live up to my expectation. The scooping part is too flimsy, so my daughter can't really pick anything up. She's almost 2 now and still has the same problem whenever she uses this. It just causes frustration at meal times.

It was much bigger than I expected and way bigger and deeper than the other standard plastic baby spoons we have. The shovel is truly a shovel without any bowl shape, and didn't work well with my son who's a dainty eater at 8-months old – too wide and awkward getting it into his mouth. Added pics comparing them to a normal cheap plastic baby spoon and a normal adult teaspoon. On the other hand my friend's son, who's almost a year and has a voracious appetite was fine with them so I gave them to my friend to use. I will say the handle works great as a teether. I also felt it was strong enough to hold a normal amount of food. I also tend to hold the baby spoons close to the bowl which gives me more control and is less likely to get knocked or hit by flailing or grabbing hands.

These are great for solid foods! Easy to handle and fun for babies/toddlers. The only cons are 1) doesn’t work for liquids like soup, applesauce, thin baby food, and such 2) only works for babies with larger mouths (which wasn’t a problem for my child). It is a very wide “spoon/scoop”. I would buy again or as a gift!

I bought these after seeing them at a friends house. I was a little annoyed at first that I had to purchase two in order to place the order, but these were worth it. The spoon part is large enough so my daughter can't stick it down her throat and gag herself. I love that the handle offers a unique texture and the colors are fun.

These are precious and a great price! I found them in a local boutique for double the price and wanted some. I was so excited to find them on Amazon for half the price. Some reviews mentioned the mouthpiece of the spoon being too flimsy, but I do not consider them to be too flimsy when eating soft foods or baby food. The textures handles are great too! Love them!

I absolutely love these spoons. I like that they are made of silicone and are easy to grasp by my little one. I don't like that they are so flexible that sometimes even I have a hard time keeping food on the spoon. It is definitely not meant to hold "heavy" items like sauces, pasta, etc.

These are cute, but hard to use if my son is eating something that is harder to scoop up. I love the way they are designed, but we don't end up using them much, because they aren't that functional.

My baby had hard time adjusting this and this isn't for 6mos old- she finally able to use it at 10 mos old, even though she was able to use it, I don't like the spoons itself even it's cool looking.
