Quality Product that Performs Excellently
Some concerns answered:1. The belt can easily be tightened with a great deal of control and holds the tightness selected securely.2. The belt is sufficiently stiff to prevent twisting when wearing a belt knife or other tools. I have not tested it personally with a gun or any especially heavy tool though other reviewers have.3. The buckle does stick out /slightly/ further than a traditional leather belt, but it does not look unusual when shirt is tucked in my opinion. The buckle is not visible through an un-tucked shirt per my experience, though I don't have /much/ of a gut.4. The buckle seems sufficiently hard to outlast any of the metal buckles I've owned. The plastic is not scratchy and does not flex at all.5. I chose gray. The color of gray errors towards blue rather than tan, but is still completely neutral looking for those that might be concerned.6. The size was perhaps slightly longer than I expected.7. The finished end is coated in addition to being melted to prevent raveling and premature fraying.Over all the product is what I expected: a durable, simple yet well designed tactical belt option that is made in America. If you're on the fence about this purchase allow me to elaborate. In my experience, even cheap civilian web belts far out last leather belts including work wear belts with the stiff canvas covered backing. The nylon it's made from by its very properties will resist rot from moisture far longer than leather as it doesn't soften. It will also dry faster when sweating than leather. Many cheap leather belts as one would by at walmart now-a-days have inferior metal in the buckles. I've had several actually crack on me while buckling up. It's not a stretch at all to say that, this belt is capable of saving you money over the many years it will last as compared to even nicer leather belts. Liberal vegans will adore the statement too! Hard-nosed conservatives will note that it's made in America! You will be supporting your country and proving that capitalism can work when the customer is weary for their own best interests.Update: Two years later this belt shows no sign of weakening. I still work out side in the Tennessee summers sweating profusely all day long. I do have to wash it every few weeks in the summer as it builds of sweat, but it's always dry by the next morning. At two years it has started to show mild pilling where my keys and leatherman hang on it. This is a very durable product!

After 5 years I still highly recommended for everyday Conceal Carry or OWB.
5 year update;I've now owned this belt for 5 years and it still looks brand new with some very minor fraying on the non buckle end. I've used a lighter a few times to keep it at bay but I may buy a new one as this is a little long due to weight loss and now I'm carrying cross draw and getting the belt through my leather OWB Holster is a little tougher. Washed it numerous times, no issues. Gotten it wet in the rain or swimming, no issues. Best carry belt I own and I've used it almost everyday for 5 years. 5 Freaking Years!!I purchased this and the 5.11 TDU belt at the same time for comparison and to save on shipping costs. The 5.11 belt was too small - even though it shouldn't have been, and this one is just a tad too long. Given the choice - I'll take the extra length. Strangely though, this and the Spec-Ops are nearly identical belts, the only difference as far as I can see was the length, inside logos and the logo on the buckle. Belt webbing, buckle, stitching and seal at the end of the belt all seemed identical.I carry everyday and wanted something other than a heavy duty leather carry belt. This fits the bill perfectly. I carry a medium frame 3.2 inch 12 round 9mm and a full size 4.5 inch 17 round 9mm along with a double mag pouch and usually a cased folding knife. Depending on weather, dress and destinations I utilize Alien Gear Holsters - Tuck 2.0 IWB and OWB, and this belt supports everything just fine; no sagging, no outward bowing with the OWB or on the side I carry my backup gear either. Adjustments through the day are minimal as the buckle does a very good job of remaining tight and remaining secure regardless of the amount of walking or sitting - standing I do during the day.I bought the Coyote Brown and it goes with just about everything I wear from jeans to shorts to khakis without standing out as "military" to others. I've even received compliments when wearing my shirts tucked and its visible to others. Adjustments - when needed - are quick and easy due to the easy release tab on the buckle, Even going to the head is quick. All in all a great belt and so much better than a comparable webbed carry belt I purchased from Cabela's for 3x's as much. Highly recommend it for carry.
