The shirt itself is made out of a very pleasant, soft, comfortable material, the padding under the arm pits, however, is bulky and NOISY with loud rustling and bunching noises constantly. It had no impact on sweat stains. I'd wear this just as a comfy shirt to sleep in if the padding under the arm pits wasn't so unpleasant feeling and noisy. It creases and bunches. I finally broke down and bought a Numi shirt and the difference is incredible- underarms are soft, comfortable, and it WORKS. I would not recommend this product unfortunately. The pro's would be the fabric and the length and fit, and the fact that it didn't ride up that easily. I am 6 ft, 160 lbs, 34C with a long torso so I have to buy huge sizes just for length. I am a vet and wear scrubs a lot and I can't stand when tucked in layers come out from my bottoms.Save your money and go with Numi, the difference is incredible in feel and performance. I'm attaching my pic of my Numi shirt as well (in expresso). For the comparison, the picture of my scrub sweat stain was wearing this Thompson Tee and being at work for less than an hour not doing anything much physical. The picture of me in the Numi shirt with my outer layer off (because there was nothing to see!), was after I had visited an outdoor garden facility in the summer and then went for a 6.5 mile hike on a humid summer day (again with same deodorant). The numi is about 1 cm shorter in length which does cause it ride up a little more but I'd choose Numi over this any day!

Hyperhidrosis is lame. Especially for teens. There aren’t many products out there that actually help. I started getting the men’s version of these for my husband. They were phenomenal! I got these ones for my 13yo daughter (5, in different colors, necklines). They do help absorb sweat quite a bit. But she does still sweat through more often than not. These don’t seem to have as much absorbable padding as the men’s do (these have much shorter sleeves than the men’s, I’m sure that’s part of the reason for that). Overall, these do help absorb the sweat. They fit true to size (they are meant to fit snug). Under a uniform polo shirt, these look like a regular undershirt. Even with my daughter sweating thru, it’s a whole lot less than how her polo would look without one of these on. They are a little pricey, but it’s worth it for her.

I get stress sweat pretty bad. It's really annoying, so I'm glad I came across this! The padded area could be slightly bigger, as on my heavy sweat days, I do sweat just outside the line. Agh. However, this shirt does a ton to help combat my overactive sweat glands and protect my outer layers of clothing. It is also very soft and fitted, so makes a great undershirt. I would definitely recommend if you have issues with over-sweating or just need some extra protection on a very hot day.

This didn’t work at all. Only a couple hours into wearing it and my shirt is just as sweaty as it usually is. I don’t know how that’s possible since it’s literally padded armpit T-shirt but there’s virtually no difference. I’m so disappointed because I was ready to stock up on these if they worked.

I have been embarrassed by excessive sweating and sweat stains for YEARS. In high school, I would dry my shirts under hand dryers in the bathroom and started wearing black or navy as a way to solve the problem. Prescription anti-perspirants worked but the jury is out if they are harmful. So I read reviews for this shirt and was like ok why not? I have tried almost everything short of laser treatments.First day wearing the shirt: walking to the metro on a hot humid day, which would result in huge sweat stains on any other day. I boarded the train and looked down at my under arms and was absolutely shocked to see no sweat stain. Got to work and sat through a stressful meeting and looked down to see NOTHING. What?!?!? I was thrilled. I got home and my dress shirt was still sweat stain free. I promptly bought 7 more directly from Thompson tee’s website.These shirts do not feel wet while wearing, but they take a while to dry if you hang dry after washing.

Update2: I loved these shirts I bought 2, I've used them every week once, then I drop them to hamper.Now, after a year, no matter how much I wash them and treat them with spray and wash, the padding section stinks, not as the usual arm odor stink but the kind of odor clothes get when they are not dried properly, still unpleasant. I usually don't get armpit odor if I have something absorbing sweat, I refused to keep buying them every year it was a bummer. Thanks God, I found solution, once they dry I treated padding section with a steamer, voila!! I'm back in business!! I hope I can get more time out of these, they work well for me.********************************************** This was an upgraded solution for me.The shirt is really comfy and soft, nice material, the pads cover very well armpits and surrounding area, so far sweat has not transpired thru my clothing at all maintaining odors away, easy to care, I love the shirt.I would advise to try one first for fitting and to see if it works for your level of sweating.I'm 5'.3" 120 lbs, medium ended up a little bit loose and long for me, still usable as an underneath item.Overall happy with product.

I took a star off because of quality control.This is my second t shirt. I was so happy with my first one, I ordered another one in another color right away. They work really well, and are ridiculously soft. They look great, and are so comfortable.I had no quality issues with the first shirt at all.This one, however, came with a hole in the seam. You can see in the pictures, that section just didn’t get caught into the stitching. For $33, I’m disappointed. That’s a lot to pay for a shirt, to have it arrive with a hole in it.

too thick. actually haven't been able to use it with the costumes it was intended for. I give three stars as it's well made and I'm sure it will be useful somehow, but it's really just too thick.very hot for summer, which is the ideal time for this type of garment...really...there are thinner, more breathable fabrics out there, guys... please upgrade your design.

I have bought Thompson Tees before but these were not constructed well. The hem is literally unraveling!

Wish the sleeves were a bit longer - it’s more of a cap sleeve rather than a short sleeve.It just seems like a lot of fabric In the armpits which prevents me from having my arms fully at my side - I feel like I walk around with arms slightly outward, plus it gave me a rash (likely from moist fabric rubbing on my skin).Not for me but def could just be me! I could roll up a wad of toilet paper in an existing tight T-shirt and likely have the same if not better results.Probably best for someone who is a light / mild sweater.

This is a great concept. The overal material of the shirt is soft and comfortable and a perfect material for an undershirt.My main issue is that the sweat pads themselves are very thick and bulky. It kind of feels like having a thick maxi pad under your arms. Because the surface area of the padding is so large, as well as thick, you can’t really wear it under thin or sheer tops because you can see the bulk/lines of the padding. I wore it under a medium weight sweater and it did the job well, and I got used to the feeling of the shirt after a few hours.

Pretty amazing! I’m always sweating and this really kept my clothes dry. I even felt like my pits were just dryer over all. (Probably because the fabric is right up against them and just constantly wicking sweat) I was even able to wear it a second time before washing, which is a first for me. Will definitely be purchasing many more. For reference I am 5’6”, 135, and purchased an XS. It’s a snug fit but perfect as a base layer under my work clothes.

I recently attended a south Florida beach wedding. I was wearing a bra, this shirt, a button down, tie and suit jacket.... with no sweat marks. It works exactly as advertised. My only challenge was my button down fit. My shirt was very tailored and a bit tight to begin with, I ended up getting a larger shirt and I was much more comfortable with this underneath. I would highly recommend this.

With hyperhidrosis, I was always worried about underarm sweat, but Thompson Tees have changed my life! I have purchased about 7 or 8 of these and I love them all, but the Rayon fabric is my favorite. The shirts fit perfectly and hide under other clothing flawlessly. Thompson Tees have allowed me to wear all my favorite shirts that I was always afraid would show my underarm sweat. They work exactly as advertised -- I no longer have to strategically plan what I'm going to wear based on how it might show in the underarm. I am so thankful for this product!
