The Best Screen Door Closer out there
These closers are the best quality and actually last a long time. Easy to use and install!! The only storm door closer worth buying!!

Easy to install and adjust, could close a bit softer
The media could not be loaded. This works good and I really like the lock feature. The only negative is it still closes hard at the end no matter how slow I set the speed.

Works like a charm...
The door closer on my front storm/screen door quit working after 10 years, so I went on Amazon to find a replacement. I saw this one and took a chance since it was priced much lower than similar ones and appeared to be about the same as the others. I received it very quickly via Amazon Prime and immediately installed it on the door. It was the exact same size as the old one, so I didn't have to install the brackets that came with the closer. Within two minutes I had the new closer installed, and spent another two minutes adjusting the closing strength. It works perfectly. I wish all home repair jobs were as quick and easy as this one was.

The strut is ok, the mounting hardware junk
The strut included with this kit is mediocre- but lower quality than you would find at your local big box hardware store. The mounting hardware is PLASTIC! Major brands at roughly the same price have metal hardware and the strut is heavier duty. I reused my metal hardware and just swapped in the strut. You will be disappointed with this product.

Worked great.
Installed a metal storm door and needed matching closer. With some adjustment of knob on shock, door closes, stops just before closing, then closes perfect, no hard closing. Would buy again for sure.

Happy but...
I used my old metal mounting brackets, and so these are great. It does, as many have noted, come with plastic brackets. I tossed those, and they indeed look disappointing. But why screw in new brackets? Not needed! (Keep your old screws and pins though, as you may need to mix and match given different hole sizes)
