Miss Tizzy (Aladdin Picture Books)

This will be a gift for my husband's 1st granddaughter . . .

What a sweet story. Miss Tizzy is an eldery woman who is colorful and active and fun in a neighborhood where the people and houses are boring and all the same. She does a different activity each day of the week with the neighborhood children who love her. When she gets sick, the neighborhood children are sad and do all the activities to show her and make her happy. The pictures are vibrant and inviting. Gorgeous.

Excellent book for children. The children and I live it!!! Miss Tilly teaches the children so many import values through daily play and the children have an opportunity to demonstrate those life lessons. A must have in your child’s library 👍🏽💕

this is one of my favorite childhood books growing up. It's about a woman named Miss Tizzy who spends a lot of time with the neighborhood kids and do fun things like baking cookies, rollerskating, and putting on plays and skits and looking at the skies. Then one day Miss Tizzy gets sick, and the neighborhood kids decide to help out by putting on plays and cleaning up the house and just showing Miss Tizzy how much they care about her and returning the love that Miss Tizzy had given them. It's a great book to have and a true gem from back then. Your love ones will love it, especially if they want a classic from the 90's. I highly recommend this book. It is worth reading (and buying).

I read this book to our kids at church. After I finished, we packaged cookies, made flower arrangements and notes. We then delivered to the widows in the church on their porches. Made everyone's day!

All I can say is I’m glad I own this book. I love it for a million reasons.

.Miss Tizzy is a wonderful story which became my now 17year old granddaughters favorite all-time story. It's about a caring & kind relationship between several children and an older lady who clearly enjoyed teaching and playing games with the children. The children love miss tizzy and eventually help and repay Miss Tizzy in a most-thoughtful way.th book is especially recommended for grandparents to read to their young grandchildren.

This is a lovely story in terms of its message, but it's also thoroughly enjoyable for young children. It teaches how special individuals in the community can bring fun and joy to children who don't happen to be their own. It also gently deals with aging and illness. It's a wonderful and important story for any child who still interacts with his/her grandparents.

A lovely tale which would help anyone explaining death to a child, or looking to encourage children to follow someone's good example
