Love it !
My son has fine motor delays and we were using the loop type scissors. But he had moved a long time ago to spring loaded. Best purchase for him!

Pre-k teacher recommended to parents. Spring helps with the open and close.

Comfortable for a left-hander too!
The media could not be loaded. My daughter was learning fine motor skills before I purchased these scissors, she has now developed excellent fine-motor skills.Surprisingly at first, I wasn't familiar with spring-assisted scissors or know if such a thing exists, but I must say that for anyone who is struggling to learn fine motor skills, this spring-assisted scissors will be a great tool. You can move the handle up or down as per your comfort, or if you believe that your child had developed such skills, you can stop using the spring setting & let them use it normally.Starting from when my daughter was a preschooler, she started learning to hold & move the fingers gradually, these activities may take some time to be developed because good hand & eye coordination is required, now when she began elementary school, she is doing great. It took a fair bit of time to excel in that skill for she is a lefty. My daughter is still using these scissors without the spring assistance & she loves it. The blades are sharp but rounded on top to avoid accidents. The scissors contain soft comfortable grips, a left-handed child too can use them comfortably

FANTASTIC
These are great quality. My son loves them. They work better than any of the other brands we have tried (even other assisted ones).

Love it
The kindergarten teacher recommended for my elder one, and I got an extra one for my little one. He had a hard time to hold regular scissor and get the concept of open and close to cut. Within 2 days, the boy had fun with cutting and master using the scissor without the green piece.

I really am enjoying these spring assisted scissors.
I have developed some carpel tunnel issues and regular scissors really make my hand hurt. Most scissors that are made especially for people with hand pain are very expensive. I found these children's spring assisted scissors and thought I would give them a try! I am very happy that I did! These scissors cause me little to no hand pain! The spring assistance can be turned off and on depending on the users need. This pair of scissors came only in black, white, and acid green. I have to admit I do not care about the color scheme at all. The thumb part of the scissor has rubberized bumps that help to cushion that area as well. These scissors are large enough for an adult to comfortably use, but small enough for a child to use easily as well. These Koopy Spring assisted scissors have a blunt tip for safety! I love these and I am going to buy more!

〰 Versatile 〰 Easy To Use 〰 My Toddler ❤️'s Them 〰
The media could not be loaded. I bought these Scissors for my toddler boy who has difficulty operating standard scissors. These were recommended to me by a pre-school teacher who swears by these. What makes these different from other scissors is that there is a green latch (looks like an arrow) that can be turned ''on'' or ''off'' which activates or deactivates a spring release mode. This can be very useful because some toddlers have difficulties opening scissor handles. These also have rounded tips and the blades are made of stainless steel. Loop scissors are another alternative but they are much more expensive and they are not as versatile as these.~~~~~~~~ Instructions ~~~~~~~~When the green latch is in the upright position (arrow pointing up), this deactivates the spring system and the scissors can then be used normally...like any standard pair of scissors. When the latch is in the ''on'' position (green arrow pointing to the right), this activates the spring system and makes it so that the scissors will stay opened, even after releasing the handles. This way, all that needs to be done for cutting, is simply pressing the handles together to close the blades. In this mode, once you let go of the handles, the blades just re-open by themselves. My toddler is a lefty so he's already at a disadvantage when using most scissors. Having said that however, he is getting better and better at it since we have been using these. They are easier for him to grab compared to others that we have tried, and they actually CUT (unlike the Crayola My First Safety Scissors). He really enjoys using these and he finds the cute patterns amusing. Great Purchase. Would recommend. If my review was helpful let me know by clicking on the ''Helpful'' button :) 👍🏻

Great Scissors, easy to use even for a 2 year old.
The media could not be loaded. My kids love these scissors and use them often! They are 3 and 6 but we got them when my youngest was 2 and she was able to use them somewhat then as well. In terms of ease of use they were easier than others we tried, she just hadn't developed and practiced enough to use them properly at that point. But the fact that they open back up automatically really helps the younger ones when opening scissors up is too hard for their fingers.Originally I bought these because my son is autistic and was having a bit of trouble with his fine motor skills which made scissors more challenging. The Occupational therapist recommended this type and I searched for a while to find ones with good enough ratings. We originally tried some plastic crayola scissors but they didn't cut paper at all, they were way too frustrating. (We repurposed them for playdoh and they are amazing for that!) But these scissors had good reviews and seemed like the best available option (I research my purchases HEAVILY, especially on Amazon because I know some reviews can be paid for to spike their ratings). The positive ones seemed to be genuine on these ones and the negative weren't terrible. We have had these for at least a couple years now and I am still super happy with my purchase! The kids were using them today and they have done many many projects with them.If this review was helpful please click helpful! 😊🙏🏼

Best scissors for toddlers.
These are the best scissors for toddlers and kindergarten kids. There is a small latch which makes them function as a spring release so they stay open and all kids have to do is press to close. Or they can be used as mortal scissors. They are short so work with small fingers. They are super easy to use for kids. There is no negative feedback whatsoever. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for kid scissors. You won't regret it.

Great for kids who are struggling
My daughter is 3 and her Occupational Therapist suggested getting these as she was really struggling with scissor skills, she could not open standard scissors with one hand. Standard kids scissors were such a struggle for her that she would quickly give up on them, she is willing to sit for up to 20 min now cutting paper which is great for improving her fine motor skills and hand strength. They cut through thicker card stock as well and seem well made, paper never slides in between the blades like some kids scissors.

Awesome!
I had bought crayola sissors for my grandson and they didn't cut paper. I then bought these and they are perfect. Easy for him to hold and they open back up so that he can cut the straight lines and circles. Really great pair for pre schoolers.
