Tonareli Checkered Carbon-look Finish Violin Case - 4/4 VNF 1013

I was tired of my twenty year old rectangle case. I love this- very durable and protective, nice quality. The finish collects very subtle nicks or catches streaks of paint if you bump a wall, etc., but to me that means it is well loved and well used. Inside nicely appointed, enough room for shoulder rest, rosin, cloth, strings, but less space than the older Snickers Bar shaped cases. Can be carried over one shoulder or as a full back pack. Carabiners need to be checked occasionally for the screw lock that keeps the hook secure. Recommend the music bag sold separately - however large folders do not fit. (8.5 x 11 letter sized sheet music is best.) Tolerates rain, impact and heavy use well. Haven't tried standing on it- but it serves me well.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a great case... and I travel with it on a weekly basis. It also fits easily in overhead compartments on planes; is light weight, and protects my fiddle with lots of extra storage space inside for rosin, shoulder rest, etc. The outside does chip and scratch... but I really use, & depend on this case, so that doesn't really bother me much.The only thing I can say was a big disappointment was that - this case only came with one strap... and not a real "Tonareli' strap. It came with just one, mediocre strap that's hard to use because it slides around. (See Photos below) So in order for me to back pack this fiddle case - I had to purchase a second - Tonareli strap (at $20 for ONE strap) so I would have 2 straps for this case. BUT... And here's the funny part, it wasn't until I purchased & received the 2nd Tonareli strap here on Amazon - (over 1.5 years later)... that I realized the one strap that came with this case is NOT marked Tonareli... and is not even remotely - the same quality - of the Tonareli strap I just recently purchased.This is the only reason why I gave this case 4 stars. The case is awesome. I wanted the quality & the name Tonareli is known for. I could have gone with a MUCH cheeper case that looked pretty much the same... but I wanted a Tonareli - and so I payed the extra buck$. Having to buy a second strap was kinda not cool on Tonareli's part... This case - at this price SHOULD come with 2 - 'REAL' Tonarelli straps.

great violin case, but this seller sucks. it arrived damaged, they passed the book when I called, they did not have another one to replace it and in the end I contacted Tonareli myself and they were great, i drove to the actual warehouse and they replaced it instantly, very helpful great guys. Please order your case direct from Tonareli in the state of Georgia,,,, Not Rozanna violins

Very light case, great look and my violinist girlfriend loves it.

Does everything it's supposed to do. Keeps the fiddle tight and comfy.

I enjoyed the violin case, I use it when I go to my music class in public transport, easy to carry.
