Sun Radon sells continuous radon monitors. These monitors require recalibration every year. We have tried to call, email and message with no response to get the information for recalibration. Their website requires a login using the email address during purchase to no avail. This renders these $1,000 monitors junk after a year.

Purchased my 1028-XP - 8 tests in and so far so good. Reports a nicely laid out. Tech support has been helpful, although haven't needed them much. The app allows me to get pick up the machine, create the report and email without going back to the office. Allows the machine to go right back out. Probably going to buy a second machine soon.

I bought 2 of these knowing Sun Nuclear has a been in the Medical field for some time and though it was a trusted name.After a few months of use these monitors have one issue to be resolved after another.PIN does not work for tampering and was one of the three points I purchased it for.Blue tooth to cell is very erratic and I have to Constantly dump the app and reload. It takes also up to a minute of 2 minutes to link to your cell. That's if it will link @ all.This was the MAIN reason I purchased not just ONE but TWO.Touch screen does not always feel the finger tips NOR anything els for that matter. An d to find out the have a two month warranty is just breath taking for spending Just under $2000.I give it only Two stars.Since anyone I tried selling to does not want them, so I am stuck with them.But they do connect to the desk top to generate a nice report.Hopefully Sun Nuclear would be wise to Truly work out all the Kinks on a product the area selling.Reputation gets tarnished.

I own a very large number of the 1028XP Continuous Radon Monitors. I have found them to be very reliable and much easier to use than the previous model 1028. The touch screen interface is a game changer. Starting and stopping tests or changing settings is all done by touch menu's. The platform has a lot of flexibility by having the port that will allow the addition of an Environmental Module (to add Temperature, Humidity and Pressure monitoring) and a Cellular card. The reporting software is easy to use and Customers like the format. SunRADON has a long history in the Radon monitoring space. I trust their technology and their support.

Have 5 monitors and 3 working -The customer support doesnt even answer their phones .Warning-Dont ever buy,try anything but these .
