I opened this package and was immediately struck by the compactable size of this pool float. Deflated the float was maybe the size of a small bag of chips.However I was then very confused with how to work the float and actually inflate the sides. There were no clear directions that were included in the box and I had to go back on the Amazon page to try and reengineer how to inflate the tube. There was no little nozzle thing like most pool floats. Instead this works more like a wet-dry bag with foldup clips. I also found that it was very challenging (basically impossible) to inflate this by mouth. It said that you were supposed to whisk this float to inflate the sides, but i also found that didn't work well. Eventually I used a hair dryer and it immediately inflated.After inflating the tube worked as expected and was a comfortable pool float. However, because of the difficulty in actually inflating this I chose to give this product only 3 stars.Disclaimer: I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion in an Amazon review.

This is a lot bigger and I thought it would be looking for to summer and playing in it in our pool

This pool lounge float is quite convenient to carry since it fits in a small bag. It took a few tries to get it inflated. Once we figured it out, though, this float was definitely enjoyed. Whether reclining or sitting up, you can be in the refreshing water while being held up so that you can relax and soak up the sun or visit with friends. Our neighbor liked this float so much that we sent her the link to get one herself!

My main concern was space. 3 kids, 2 adults, 3 kayaks, clothes... was afraid this wouldn't fit. First off it arrives wrapped up small and tight in a carry pack. Perfect for traveling with tight space. Easy to use, just blow it up and go. GREAT for summer travels!

So hard to put air into this hammock! It is fun, but then the chances of actually getting air into this hammock is pretty low. There's just something about it that makes it so hard to put air into. There was only ONE time out of the 3 that I was actually able to put air into it and it was awesome!!! Other than that, it was not. It was too much work to put air into that I had to make it some kind of a game. I mean, there's just too big of a hole to close off when air is being put into the hammock. I can't say it can hold 440 pounds either. I think it was more like 200 pounds at the most. Any more than that, it will start to flatten. When it was inflated perfectly, many of us were able to hang on the sides and float around. Two of us were able to lay on it without drowning. The mesh actually stayed in one piece too. No rip whatsoever. The fastening of the buckle doesn't make sense to me, but if it works then that is all that matters. I just need to get used to the buckling, I guess. I gave this hammock 4 stars because the idea of a hammock that requires swinging around in a circle to put air into it is cool to me. When it is inflated, it is fun. When it is deflated, it is space saving. And when it is being used, it becomes a fun water activity. Just be careful with it though. The nylon and mesh feels thin, but it can still last a while if taken care of correctly and carefully. Thank you!

Inflates with ease. Used it at the lake and it was perfect. Made for a very relaxing day. Cant go wrong with this.

I received this a few days ago to give in an honest review. I have tried a few times to put air in th cylinders while pool side, and I have found it to be very tiring and nearly impossible. I know there is a method to it, and further practice will probably result in success. I love the overall concept and its footprint when deflated and stored is quite small. Perfect for car camping or motorcycle camping at the lake. Again, with practice in inflating I think this will be a great pool or lake float.I will update my review after further use.

For me this float is OK-- others may like it more. I found it a bit difficult to "inflate" in the suggested manner but was I was able to use a hairdryer on cool setting and that worked great-- so no problem there. It has an unusual closure method which I was dubious about at first but the air stayed in the float just fine. The fabric is soft and comfortable. It takes a bit of work to get into the float in the water but, if you really want to be mostly in the water and laying down, it is comfortable and keeps you afloat one you are situated. Not so good if you want to try to converse with others floating near you but soft and comfortable if you just want to float and relax.
