Ancestral Path Tarot

This is a beautiful Tarot deck printed from original oil paintings! It represents different cultures of the world which I love as a professional reader. Wands is Egyptian, Cups is Celtic, Swords is Japanese and Pentacles is Native American. I owned this deck when it was first printed. I purchased it again when it was printed a second time, but was disappointed because I felt the publisher did not work with the artist and the colors seemed muddy. This is the third printing and it is gorgeous! The borders are gone, the images are vibrant and the cards are slightly bigger. They are lovely to gaze upon as art image so I don’t mind that the cards are harder to shuffle. The artist has reinterpreted the Rider-Waite-Smith Deck brilliantly! The original meanings are apparent in the clever storytelling of each culture’s mythological characters. Julia Cuccia-Watts is a Tarot Master! Here is the opportunity to work with one of her earlier decks at a very affordable price.

Cards are large oracle sized, beautiful and wonderful quality. I’m in love with this deck!

I love the vivid colors of this deck. The artwork is amazing! The messages are great too. The first time I used them they were spot on. The price was excellent. Especially in this economy where most decks are 2x the price of this. They pair nicely with oracle cards for further depth to your reading. Buy them. You won't be disappointed.

Omg love love these cards .. big & beautiful with good messages.. dif pics so you can read the meanings deeper for this deck.. card stock is nice with Matt finishing.. cheap box though..so I have to find box to fit

I like these cards they are larger .the stock is Good .I thought they were pretty nice cards the description for the cards is different than what The description says. which is a lot better enjoy there nice 4.x5. I also like the bigger larger cards anyway because it makes them different like they’re really supposed to be because they’re Taro cards they’re not card playing cards

Used deck complete with box, LWB and cards like new. The box and guidebook(LWB) have some wear but I expected that. Each suit follows a specific culture. Majors are timeless. Boarderless. The cards are larger than standard tarot. Art speaks for itself. But shuffles easily.

I watched a few video walk throughs on this deck so I knew they would be extra large cards. I was thinking they would not riffle shuffle well due to their size but I was surprised that I could quite easily. My hands are larger though so smaller hands may have a struggle with riffle. The size of the cards make it unique. I like seeing the diversity in the art as well. Some reviews I've seen say the cardstock is flimsy. I don't find it to be in comparison to other decks. I think the larger size makes it seem that way. I like that it is borderless and matte finish. The creator does great work with facial expressions. I especially like that each suit, when put in numerical order tells an ongoing story that can be linked by observation of similar things from one card to the next and beyond. Glad I purchased it.

As a fan of tarot decks, and an experienced tarot advisor, I have worked with and own many decks (over 50 last count) Some decks I use only for myself, and some only for others. My favorite decks are the ones that work for both, and the Ancestral Path Tarot is bound to become one of those decks. I often work festivals, or exchange readings with friends, and this deck is excellent in that the symbology covers a nice span of cultures. Although I pride myself on my ability to read multiple decks, it is becoming a bit painful to carry multiple decks around (literally a pain in the back), but this will help reduce the weight when I travel as I should be able to use this deck for a greater amount of people. Thanks to Julie Cuccia-Watts who designed the deck, it is insightful, and seeped with meaning. A literally Mythic deck, 5 stars are not enough.
