Mattel Speed Racer Collector Gift Set - Pink Label

Love it all.

I bought this set mainly for the Ken doll because he has articulated legs. Most of the Ken dolls have little or no articulation - the only ones with more articulation are typically from the higher end Collectors' series and more expensive. While I bought this doll for the Ken, the set is actually very cute - Trixie included. She doesn't have any articulation, but she's a very attractive doll and the gloves, helmet and binoculars are adorable! All in all a great set of barbies - probably will have more appeal to adult collectors since Speedracer isn't as familiar to kids these days.

So the male is FULLY articulated and his boots are awesome, like they click on and open like a book. Very well made. I didn't know if I was going to like Trixey but she's more beautiful in person. I'm so glad I purchased this set.

Barbie has a great detail when making an edition of the speed racer movie, the clothes and the details of the dolls is excellent, Meteoro has moving parts, but Trixie is beautiful, its design is perfect, recommended especially for barbie collectors

I used to love this cartoon when I was little. So glad I got these two. The little heart barrette in Trixie's hair is the cutest thing! And I love the black hair on the Midge face doll. Very rare. Very rare to get Ken with black hair also. I don't want to ever unbox them because the box is great too.

Of the many dozens of Barbies we share here-she is absolutely one of my top 3 favrites-BEAUTIFUL! Cute perky haircut, well made WITH HEMS!!! outfits-even gloves for both dolls. He is handsme as well and has an awesome well put together jacket, cool boots etc. Generally I have been very let down by Mattel recently but this set is a blast from the pastQUALITY clothing that will last-to cool! I do wish she had the healthir bodynot the anorexic mdelbut one cannot have it all-sigh.

This doll set is smashingly fun.True to the charactors of comics, cartoons, and movies.the costume's are great, and the sence of fun is overwelming.The pair stand beautifully as a couple, and the character in the faces are splended. One of the best Barbie set I've even encountered.Never have a seen the modern Midge sculpt so nicely detailed, and portrayed.The only sad thing is that her body is not articulated as nicely as his.

cute set I am not a Barbie collector as such but I do collect Barbie realted figures to my hobbies Star Trek Dc Heros Speed Racer.The likeneses are good although the only quible for my self is insted of the Mach 6 they needed to have a pic of the original Mach 5 but thats only me.Well worth owneing If you are a Barbie fan or a Speed Racer Fan.
