On the left I have these hangers and on the right I have some I bought at Dollar General. They're about the same in price, and save about the same amount of space. What I like about these is the closed hoops and hinges to twist the hooks around. On the Dollar General ones I hooked the spring clothes horizontally and all my clothes fell because it was upside down! Much less thinking needed with this brand so it saved me time as well as space. The best use I've found is hanging all your out of season items and collapsing it to keep them out of the way while your in season clothes take up the center of your closet.

I've been using variations of these space saver hangers for the past decade and these ones are by far and away the best design and quality I've come across. Super sturdy but slender and the hangers on each end swivel 360 degrees. Genius!

Wow! These hangers are made incredibly well. I was skeptical at first as I had quite a bit of clothing to hang and was worried the metal would bend. I ended up not even needing all 8 that was purchased. The slots are large enough to put 2-4 hangers through depending on the size. I have mostly standard, plastic hangers and a mix of those fuzzy hangers with a very skinny metal hook on top. I only used 3 max so far with tank tops but could potentially add more as they are very light anyway. With sweaters and long sleeve shirts I did two hangers in each slot. The review that sold me said they were strong enough to hold heavy winter clothing and I second that!!

I have to share a tiny closet with my daughter. The back wall is on an angle and theres a hidden shelf behind the rack. These hangers not only give us plenty of extra space but also allow me to easily utilize the shelf. Very durable and they do not snag clothes hanging next to it like the other space saver hangers I already had. Will definitely be ordering more.

They are sturdy and do the job but personally I don't feel like they are space savers at all. The clothes hang substantially lower which doesn't work for me (I have a shelf below my hanging clothes). My pictures show the same amount of clothes taking up the same amount of space. With these in use it's harder to see what clothes I have and harder to get them in and out of the closet. I am returning this item.

These are the coolest way to teach our kids to organize closets for each season and fast sorting of laundry items. While they won't totally collapse/reduce bulk for thick garments such as winter coats, etc, they will certainly collapse the bulk and maximize closet hang space for average garments such as dresses, shirts, blouses and lightweight items. My kids love these because they can put dresses on one and collapse it down, sports uniforms on another, nice shirts on another and favorite play clothes on another. Sometimes they leave them hanging wide rather than collapsing them, and that gives them ease to hang groups of the above mentioned like items together. I love that we can easily flip sections of clothes to the back of the closet when they are out of season. Initially I only saw the small packs 4 or 6, but once I put that in my cart, I realized there was a 20 pk. So I decided to buy that instead. For a family of 5, this was a better starting point for us to set closets in order. Eventually I plan to order more, and I highly recommend these not only for sturdy space saving but also for assisting with setting order to messy closets. We can more easily see what clothes we use, where to find them and what we can purge from old seasons bc hanging and grouping items on these hooks is so simple. Also, want to note that we use the thick plastic hangers to loop into these hooks and they fit great. I was curious about that bc I dislike how metal hangers get tangled on the closet rod. These hooks hold any type hanger, so yay!!!
