Thermo-Tec 14035 3', 1"- 1 1/2" I.D. Express Sleeve

I used it to protect the transmission cooler lines on mu 2005 Duramax where they run closer to the exhaust than I would prefer. I earlier tried using home pipe insulation, but, not surprisingly, that melted within a month. This is thin and has a "hook and loop" fastener to hold it around the lines. It's been on for three months while towing some 4000 miles in the Arizona heat, and is holding up well. Time will tell.

I purchased Thermo-Tec 14035 3', 1"- 1 1/2" I.D. Express Sleeve to help shield my low pressure AC hose (1 inch Dia.) from the heat from my exhaust Manifold. What I found was that this shielding material was much to large to fit around my AC hose. I finally cut 1 inch from material and sewed it back together and the fit was much better, but still a bit large. After installation of sleeve on AC hose I THINK that AC condensation has been reduced, but I am still in testing mode.I am faulting this product but am just stating what I found out with this product.If I was to order this product again to shield my 1 inch Dia. AC hose I would order their product Thermo-Tec 14030 3', 1/2"- 1" I.D. Express Sleeve.

These wraps and very easy to install and have really helped my fleet units that have EGR coolers. The hoses run right over the turbocharger and regularly get cooked.. These are a tremendous help!

I used this on my A/C line in my vehicle. This is essentially a thick fabric with "hook and loop" on it. After cutting, to keep the Velcro from separating from the fabric, I put two staples through each side. Or if looks are not important, zip ties after installing.Easy to cut with scissors. Very flexible to wrap around curving and 90 degree corners. Be sure to measure the diameter of what you want to put it on first before ordering. I "guesstimated" and this was a little big for me.Substantially colder air coming out of the vents now. I can turn the fan down a little and still feel comfortable.

I got this for wrapping oil hose for a remote filter kit I bought. The BBK Headers were/are closer than the old cast iron exhaust manifolds so wanted to protect the hoses better. Have not used car yet as still up for a bunch of mods and wrap on header down pipe & tubes back by transmission as the tranny gets HOT on long cruise.

We have a 2014 Polaris RZR that we love but WOW is it hot in the summer. We tried everything to reduce the heat inside the cab and nothing did much until we bought this. HUGE improvement !!! We took the RZR on a trip down to Arkansas and the heat index was 116 during the trip. We could not have even thought about riding during that heat before, but now it's not an issue. Highly recommend this to anyone looking to reduce the ridiculous amount of heat in your RZR.

I love this concept, so much easier than wrap type heat shield. Easy to install and adjust and looks fairly robust. Used it to shield fuel hoses from heat of drivetrain.

Helps prevent wires or hoses from getting too hot.
