Even though the design of the sealing valve is a little different, its almost like this one is better... because it certainly words better on my InstantPot than the original did. My new Instantpot wouldn't seal right.. the silver seal valve would just sputter and wouldn't pop up when it was supposed to, sealing in the steam to build the pressure... I had to maually help it all the time. Finally, it just wouldn't hold the seal at all. So I purchased this kit that replaced the big seal for the lid, the black release valve, and the small silver sealing valve piece with its silicone cap. I tested it out with just water, and it worked beautifully. It sealed like it was supposed to no problem- no spitting. As soon as the steam started, it sealed, and the pot was up to temp and pressure faster than it has before. I then cooked chicken in it like I usually do, and it, again, worked wonderfully. I gave it 4 stars for the "easy to install", as it was a little tough to get the silicone cap the new valve in place correctly, and I ruined one of the caps before I figured it out.

Purchased in hopes it would fit my daughter's insta pot. The original seal on hers was worn out and in need of replacing. It fits perfectly, purchased almost a year ago and still no issues. Well worth the price! Would buy again.

Couldn’t figure out why my Instapot wasn’t working. Tried everything and after a horrible run around trying to get customer support to help me from Instapot, I decided to buy this. Seem like a cheap option and easier then the runaround Instapot was giving me. Replaced the sealing pop valve and the lid seal. It was instantly fixed!! So easy to replace the parts and it came in the mail super fast. I would suggest this anyway over dealing with the Instapot manufacture customer service.

Pliable to fit onto instant pot lid but feels thick & durable. Love the colors (so that sauces that stain, won't). Remains the same color. Haven't replaced the steam release yet.

Not the same fit as I had but took care of the problem Harder to put in though. Could be cause its new. The instant pot seals though Thanks.
