Great for someone that doesn't have much previous information about ...
Great for someone that doesn't have much previous information about Paleo. I thought there would be more on the trimesters and how foods influenced my growing baby a little deeper than the few paragraphs dedicated to each trimester. Never really finished it since we've been following a Paleo type lifestyle and had a better understanding when reading this. But fantastic if you are new and want to give your baby the nutritional boost and love they need from a whole foods based diet!

It has delicious recipes
There were a few recipes, that had ingredients in it that are not safe (according to my midwife) to consume during pregnancy (ie bacon). It doesn’t mean that my husband wouldn’t enjoy the meal. I still love the cook book!

Was a disappointed in this book
Was a disappointed in this book. I wouldn't consider it a "paleo pregnancy" book as much as a book that has introductory paleo principles mixed in with general pregnancy information. While the information was good, it's nothing that I didn't already know, even as a first-time pregger who has been paleo for a while. More than anything, though, it's a cookbook, with most of the pages dedicated to basic paleo recipes that are not different from what you can find on any paleo website.

Not as much helpful or new info- pretty generic to pregnancy books
Not as much helpful or new info- pretty generic to pregnancy books. I was expect ion more recipes than info about morning sickness and baby's development

Poorly researched and curated- Someone just trying to cash in by rushing out a bunch of stuff cobled from the web
Poorly written book by someone looking to make some money on the side- It basically just glosses over the concept of paleo (very superficial) and then 2/3 of the book is a bunch of untested paleo recipes she just grabbed off the internet. I've seen these traps before.I'm a hardcore paleo aficionado and this did nothing to increase my knowledge as pertaining to having a paleo baby . Trying to have a paleo baby bucks the medical system and as such, one needs to be prepared with facts, studies etc to take on the establishment. This pertains to vaccinations, carbs, fats, sleeping arrangements, weaning etc just to name a few. Most things paleo go against conventional guidance from pediatricians. I got nothing from this book that would help me in this endeavour. It's at best an intro to Paleo with nothing to back up the claims- poorly researched and poorly curated (cheap newspaper print, no pictures, visual aids etc. Look around for better quality books and save your money on this one

Not what I wanted
Being pregnant, I was, looking for more pregnancy friendly comfort foods to satiate cravings while being healthy. Most of these recipes I have read online before and are the same used if someone was trying to lose weight.I didn't think any of them were appetising enough to save or try myself.

It's exactly what the book title says!
Tarah is extremely knowledgeable about staying on a Paleo diet during pregnancy (she has first hand experience in this!). So, I was super excited to see this book. The book is divided into 3 sections:The first 50 pages is all about what to eat to ensure you get the correct amount of nutrients during your pregnancy and this differs slightly from a regular Paleo diet you might be on. There are also really useful sections on prenatal vitamins and minerals as well as how to deal with issues like mood swings, morning sickness, and complications during pregnancy. The next 50 pages really takes you through the pregnancy trimester by trimester and also into what to do after giving birth (including how to recover and breastfeeding). The third section is over 100 pages of Paleo pregnancy recipes (including snacks and desserts) so you won't be missing out on anything! So if you're thinking of having a baby or if you're already pregnant, then this is the book for you. And if you're not on a Paleo diet but just want to ensure you have a safe pregnancy and a healthy baby, then you probably need to read this book even more!
