CLC Custom Leathercraft 304X Reinforced Masons Tool Bag, beige

While I cannot attest to the tool-hauling abilities of this bag, it is excellent for my purposes. In my experience, women's laptop bags, which are designed to look like oversized handbags, invariably fail at their inherent purpose - they eventually come apart and never seem to be able to withstand the weight of the laptop. When I was in college, I resorted to getting a smaller laptop - but since I started working, I can't sacrifice screen size for space/weight. So after several months of enduring this recurring frustration, and after refusing to succumb to the traditional, uninspired messenger-style laptop bag, (because well, that's not my style) or to the backpack (because I can't pull that off without looking like a high school student), I had the epiphany which led me to purchase a tool bag, and this tool bag in particular. It is rather wide, and actually arrived about 3 or 4 inches wider than advertised (this was sometime ago, I do not recall the precise discrepancy), but in the end, the additional space comes in handy. It also works great as an overnight bag for a weekend getaway and it's high quality - leather, canvas, suede - people are astounded when I tell them it's actually a tool bag. There's no zipper, just the buckles, and there's a small, zipperless compartment on the inside. There's no logo, unlike other tool bags I looked at it, and the color combination is rather pleasing. There are also 4 brass feet on the bottom of the bag, adding to it's aesthetic as well as functional appeal.

This is a fabulous canvas and leather bag. It's a lot bigger than I imagined - I knew the measurements... I just didn't imagine the real size. The quality appears great. There is no advertising on the outside. I hate company/product advertising. My purpose for this was to have an 'emergency/ or quick travel bag' in place in the car trunk. I would have a change of clothing and meds. And .... other important things. I just wanted something to fit in the back and be simple and good quality. This is it.

I use this bag to keep all of my masonry tools together where I can find them. Some of these tools are sharp and pointed and all are bulky and awkward to store. This bag is the best thing I have ever found to keep these tools where I can find them.

It is a good mason bag that wont fall apart

Quality is not as high as similar-looking bags available elsewhere. Leather bottom is more yellow in person, unnaturally so to my eyes. When straps are buckled as tightly as possible, bag still hangs open a little. Price is lower than those other bags, but if you're buying a leather-bottomed tool bag, why not spring for the real thing?

Functional & durable---who could ask for more?

A couple more pockets inside or outside would be nice but in all a nice tool bag

Bag assembly is OK but doubt it will handle the amount of tools shown in the original picture. Put one tool (about 10 lbs) in the bag and first time it was lifted, the rivet pulled out that was holding the handle to the bag frame.
