We Love this its big enough for the Big woodpeckers to feed, and we love watching them. All the birds love it.

I like that it has a part for the woodpecker tail to rest. The cable broke, but I received a replacement from the seller. Great service!!

I have gone through a ton of suet block holders. Due to Bears and other Critters I was also going through a ton of suet blocks! I have this one hanging from a rod iron plant hook with a dome over it! All my woodpeckers and other birds can now eat the suet and the squirrels can't get to it. My Pilated loves the double suet holder, they can attach themselves just fine to eat from! Not sure about the bear, they are just now waking up! Lol I will have to bring in bird feeders at night for a while. It has held out through winter just fine! It is easy to fill and should be easy to clean when the time comes!

This product seems expensive. The woodpeckers - hairy and downy - like it, however. The tail rest is good for them.

These are great, good quality, easy to replace the Suet Cakes.. Birds love Suet... but so do squirrels and if they can, they will attack these things. If you don't mind that, place a plate under it, anything the squirrels dig off through the screen, the birds will go after.. I find (in the North East) I go through 2 Suet Cakes (these hold two) about every month depending on the time of year.

Well worth the money, very sturdy, well made. Pileated woodpecker now visiting several times a day! Highly recommend!!

If you're looking for a perfect suet feeder, you've found it! This feeder is perfect for all sizes of woodpeckers from downy to pileated. I kept wasting money on the small, cheap green square shaped suet feeders that squirrels could easily get into. This feeder has taller and more thin, rectangular holes that the squirrels can't seem to get their mouth in. The feeder is also sturdy which is perfect because it doesn't rotate and scare the birds off all while looking beautiful!
