I've owned an old Ventura since 1980. It has outlasted several other more expensive guitars and 3 marriages.One of my old tuning keys, machine heads, whatever you want to call them, started buzzing during play. These are not quite a direct drop in but very close. Everything works as it should and the guitar stays in tune!They have been installed for a month or more and are holding tension just fine.They almost look like original equipment as well.

I installed these on my lp knockoff. I get to stringing it up and get to the last string. The last tuning peg doesn't have a hole for the string to go through. Seller, can you send me a new one?Changed to 5 star because seller made it right. I get it QA issues happen. Thanks!

Perfect fit for my ephiphone special

These were a drop-in replacement for the tuners in my First Act guitar. They are smooth, there is no slop or play in them, and they hold tune perfectly. Great value and I'm glad I didn't spend more on something else.

Needed to fix up an old fender 12 string that was missing a tuning peg. These fit perfectly, but the size of the knob is bigger than the original ones. Also did not come with screws, so had to drill out the holes to fit the larger screws I had lying around.

These tuners are total junk. 3 of them broke already with only a few dozen turns. DO NOT BUY!!!

Photos will come later but these Metallor Semiclosed String Tuning Pegs Machine Heads Tuners are a perfect fit to a 1973 era Les Paul LP19 guitar head. The screw holes match up perfectly. I pretty much only buy Metallor geared tuners for my Cigar Box Guitars and have been very pleased with them. I would definitely recommend these geared tuners.

The “grommet” part that goes through the guitar head will probably not fit your guitar. You can get them to work without replacing those, but if you are trying to from chrome to black you will have an issue. Your grommets will need to remain chrome, or you will need to drill bigger wholes in the guitar head (not recommended).

Does the job and look nice.

Look good but putting them on the screw holes didn't line up so had to drill new ones. But worked in the end.

For the price, they're well made. I have no complaints. They look great and adjust well. I put a little oil on each just as preventive maintenance.

These tuners are actually pretty decent for the low price you pay, however they unfortunately didn't lineup with the existing holes so I had to wood fill and drill new ones making me under-go a little extra work. All n all, they stay in tune well and they look fantastic, and overall function way better than the Musically brand. Two thumbs up!!

I purchased them to replace the Original on a Strat Affinity . as a replacement they are OK .as an Improvement to the original they are about the same Quality as Fender used in the first place . You get what you pay for and for what I paid they are acceptable .
