Great fit on our 14 year-old tub. Runs smoothly and efficiently. It comes with unions that are not needed--if you order the same motor that you are replacing--what a waste, we threw them out.The description IS as described; however, I should have ordered the conversion mounting brackets--I thought they may have been included as described with other sellers. The base is turned side-ways vs. the old pump, so mounting brackets are needed. This (company) does not include them and with the tight space I had to work within, they would have been nice to have. Instead, I fabricated my own rather than wait to order and another delivery. Maybe, having a prompt come up on the screen asking if you would like mounting brackets as well or make sure that the description says they are not included? Probably my own fault, but when researching on the web, especially for mechanical items--every little detail helps.

minor modification needed to make it fit

Pump was a direct replacement for a 15yr old hot tub pump that had seized. Wiring was slightly different, but not a big deal.
