I have had my Mag-Float for a few years and recently realized that the inside pad needed replacing after having sand stuck in it over time. This is a good replacement, but the process to replace it is difficult. I was almost ready to quit and just buy another magnet. I have yet to find an easy way to remove the super sticky glue from the magnet before applying the new pads. It took a lot of work, but it finally came off. The inside the tank pad works well at removing algae from the glass, but the outer pad could use some improvement. It doesn't cover the whole magnet and leaves streaks when you are using it. I solved this problem by putting a very thin piece of fleece blanket between the outer glass and magnet and it comes in handy whenever I need to buff out water spots from the glass.

My magnet is like new again. I would suggest using wd-40 to help get the residue off from the old stickers. Someone else suggested peanut butter. Other than this being quite a difficult task once done the product makes your magnet like new again.

Terrible product.. it has made scratches all over my glass Aquarium.. bought the float cleaner never had problems, changes the scrub pads and right away scratches it.. and no there was no sand on the pads.. ruined 1.5k tank.

Disappointed felt side is quite a bit too small. Expected better

Everything was excellent except the inner velvet felt was not exact cut, it was a bit shorter.it still useable other than that it look odd due to it not exactly fitting the dimension of the mag float.The Velcro for the inside was perfect fit.Thanks

I love you guys for making his avail - I dont hav to buy the whole magnet! Saved my 15 year old mag.

This is amazing. Took an hour long job and turned it into 15 minutes cleaning our 70 gallon aquarium.
