Cheap and Perfect
There have been a couple brands of fatwood I have tried (both in the wilderness and for wood stoves) and for the cost this brand is one of the best I have seen. The pieces do have a quicker burn time than some of the others (not as dense with the pine resin) but with a properly built fire this is not even close to an issue. The 240 count will easily last a winter in the New England States. Highly recommended.

No reason to smoke up the house
I've used fatwood for some time to get a quick relatively smokeless start for our wood stove. These catch fire quickly allowing for a quick draft.

Best fatwood I’ve ever used!
I have purchased fatwood for years, for everything from wood stoves to fireplaces. This is, hands down, the best fatwood I have ever used! Each stick lights easily and there is no dripping sap to burn hands, unlike other brands I have tried, including L.L. Bean, Plow and Hearth, Orvis and Better Wood Products. Absolutely, the best!

Best fire starter
I have been using fatwood for several years to light my fires. You can light it with a match or my favorite, a torch like you would use for cooking. Either method works and these firestarters will easily start your fire. I use mine in an indoor fireplace and typically use 4-6 to light the fire. I am very pleased and will continue to buy.

Helps start fires
Dunno what I can possibly say about this product except that I’ve purchased other brands that “seemed” to burn a bit longer.Depending on the thickness of the stick - a good chunk - lasts about 5 mins. Good or bad...who knows since I haven’t compares burn time with other brands.

Not worth the money
Does not burn that well it takes a lot of sticks to get it going I often have to go back and turn the logs and add more. I have used other Products that work much better

Light it up!
We bought these last minute because we had forgotten to order from our regular supplier. Well, these turned out to be our new favorite. They are thicker than what we are use to and they seem to give a longer burn. There is not really a distinguishable smell like the previous brand we bought, and with prime shipping, these can't be beat. Enjoy your winter fires with these easy to use fatwood sticks!

This stuff burns even under a pouring rain, as long as you can get a flame to it.
This fatwood laughs at driving rain and ultra cold. Once it is lit, it just burns hot and not too fast, but it is not intended to replace firewood. It just gets a good fire going under pretty much any conditions. Always bring more than you think you'll need. :)
