Extremely handy when you need to highlight often. No need to keep putting down your pen, and try to remember where you left your highlighter. These are the only pens I use for the type of work I do. I keep some in every room and some in my purse.The cap for the ink end of the pen is tiny and clear (almost like they were made for shipping the pens, and then meant to be discarded). It’s handy that it does snap/stack onto the end of the yellow cap (for highlighter end) which I discovered by accident. I just wish the ink cap wasn’t clear and tiny. If it was bigger, it wouldn’t be so easy to lose—this is important to me because I don’t want the inside of my purse all marked up (because the ink end isn’t protected by a cap.) Also, I’m sure that people want their shirts/pants pockets protected from ink as well! It would be nice if both ends could have the same cap, maybe just make the one for the ink end BLACK (Exactly like the YELLOW one on the highlighter end-but still make them able to stack on one another.).I don’t highlight large amounts of text at one time, but I highlight small areas often. Therefore, I can’t speak to the durability/longevity of the highlighter, because I do not overuse it. I use it sparingly, but often—and it’s extremely handy to have this double-ended pen.

Like the idea here, but I wish the highlighter lasted longer. Been using it for a couple weeks and it's already dried out.I highlight and then write comments a lot for work (like A LOT, A LOT) and I find it annoying to have to highlight something, put it down, grab my pen to write my note, put that down and grab the highlighter to start all over again. It's why I started looking for something like this where I can just flip the pen over. I call it my lazy pen. HahaSomething I didn't think about until it happened though, is that the highlighter dried up way before the ink did and now I have the option of grabbing a new one from the box or go back to using 2 different pens again.I also wish that the yellow was brighter and the tip was wider and less firm, but that goes away after its broken in. The color is pretty dull and the black ink isn't very dark either. I will say that I like how quickly the ink dries on my plastic deposit bags. It appears to be instant, so I'm very happy with that.Overall, it's a great idea but I probably won't buy them again simply because one side runs out before the other and that defeats the purpose of why I bought them in the first place. Unless Pilot creates highlighter refills?

Very fine tipped ballpoint pen on one side, and a highlighter on the other. They write well, and they last forever.My only complaint is that the cap for the pen tip is a tiny plastic thing that is SUPER easy to lose.

Caps don’t stay on and you’ll lose them with a week. Highlighter is great but pen is so so and shaft is too thin

I do some auditing and needed to hi lite amount of check and check with a pen to make sure the check number corresponded with register. I just have to turn this over and get on with it. It was time consuming to keep switching pens and I am not ambidextrous! Halved the time! Pilot is always reliable.

So good for my school work

These are our favorite pens of all time. We used to find these in a little different model, but we love that they are fine line and that they have made the cap a little tighter so they stay in place when you put the cap on the end of the highlighter cap. If you are a notetaker with books and study guides, this will be your new favorite.
