Exam Ref MD-100 Windows 10

I read this entire reference book in about 5 days and learned quite a bit. I ended paying for an online practice exam simulation and scored about a 56% on my first try. Although I cannot blame that on the book. The book gives you the meat and potatoes of everything that could be possibly asked, it's brief. In this book, there are Exam Tip cliff notes and URL's you can go to for more details. I imagine if I went to ever single one I could have spent about a month trying to learn them all.I would say about 25% of the exam questions are your typical Microsoft semantics questions and answers that the book can't possibly prepare you for. You'll still have to learn how Microsoft will try to trip you up on the exam and it could be one minor detail in one word or maybe they'll ask a question with 8 different answers to choose from and they will say "One more more answers might apply" Then every question will almost look the same with the exception of one minor detail.If you have the money, go ahead and purchase an exam simulation and study the ones you get wrong in full detail and you'll be fine.By time I ran the practice simulation about the 3rd time, I was scored about an 87%. I don't plan to schedule to take the test until I get at least in the mid to high 90 percents. I'm sure the real exam will find something you never were asked or Microsoft will try to trip you up with semantics.

I just passed the MD-100 yesterday. I have over 15 years IT experience. This is the only book I used for the exam, but... it should be used as a reference to begin your studies for the MD-100. The book states that it should be used as a reference, so there shouldn't be any surprises there. There are some topics in the exam that simply aren't covered in this book. I supplemented with Microsoft docs (very helpful), and the official practice tests. I used the practice tests to identify gaps so I could dig into topics more. Admittedly, the MD-100 was a little more difficult than I was expecting for a Desktop Admin certification path, but overall, it's not too bad. Just expect the usual confusing MS questions, and questions with a lot of exhibits.

It give a lot of details, so it a good book in that sense.But if you using this book to pass the MD-100, then you probablystruggle. I would use a different book, but this one is most decentout here currently so there really no option. Use this book, Training video,and a lot of practice questions and you should be ok.

My job required we sit this exam. Bought and read the book, took the exam. I have a lot of years experience so a good bit of the exam was from my knowledge but this book will help.

It's no harry potter, plot got kind of convoluted around the second chapter and didn't get much better, but I passed the test so i guess it worked

Simple and easy. Took one read then a couple practice tests. Passed easily. Not difficult if you have been in IT for 20 years.

I’ve used Windows 10 since it came out in 2015. I didn’t realize there was so much more to Windows 10. Currently preparing to take the MD100 certification great book.

The book is good, however it very light on the information/specifics.It says it on the title this is a refrence book so you will need something else to study to get the specifics.This book almost read like my notes from the Online Microsoft course.you wont pass the exam with Just this book, but it is a good addition to have as a quick read on your way to work or during lunch break.

Good price, but I would wait for the 2nd Edition. Due out in 2-3 weeks time
