Recently changed vehicles and the new one does not have the fan seats like my old one did. You really get used to them especially in the summer on leather seats.Anyway, ordered this and glad I did. Hope it lasts a long time but don't see why it wouldn't.Easy to install, basically plug and play. Yes the beads are hard, all beads are. Ever sit on one of those full beaded seat covers? Well that's basically what these are. But not uncomfortable at all.Love the three speeds, you can really feel the difference. It is a little noisy if you are a smaller person and lots of air flows by your body. I don't have that problem so not noisy at all to me.Considering buying another for when I ride in my spouse's car.Highly recommended.

The fan is really loud.But it does move air around the “nether regions”

I use a blower seat cushion in car to help prevent blood clots in leg (DVT). If I sit for 50 to 60 minutes my leg aches. I have tried three other seat cushions but they were so loud they interfered in conversation, and a constant irritant when driving (Uber).This cushion allows me to sit for 2 hours (if I need to) and is so quiet that no one knows it is on.I would recommend this to anyone that sits in car for long time.

Honestly, I was really looking forward to this purchase but was ultimately disappointed. Install was pretty simply, but the connection wire to the ciggert lighter was too short and it was strange having a wire across my console. Lastly when I sat on it i felt like i was sitting on bricks. Very uncomfortable and stiff. I was so dissatisfied that I didn't even plug it in to see how it worked. I ended up just returning it.

it's good! so far so good.however, don't expect any cushion padding. you are sitting on a rock solid beads!

The seat cooler did not work for me. It was too small and uncomfortable for my intended use. I had to return it. May I say the return process was very quick and easy.

Keeps my wife cool as advertised.
