Was excited when this riding pants arrived. Everything from stitching, materials and padding seemed to be spot on perfect. The feel inside and outside was nice and soft. Then the disappointment came, from trying them on. I wear a size 38 waist and 36 inseam, 6' 4" at 240 lbs. And I did order the Bilt size 38 grey cargo pants. Unfortunately, the sizing was way off. The label on the pants indicated the were 38's and regular length, but my honest opinion was that they felt like 36. Had they been true 38's I would have keeped them and though the length was short for me, my riding boots would have taken care of that difference. So unfortunately, I believe they may have been mislabled or their sizing is way off. Basically, if you're a rider that is a true size 34-36 with at most a 32 inseam, then this size pants are perfect for you.I would wish their sizing was accurate or else it would have been a 5 star review. Also if they gave you the option for TALL on the inseam, they would be able to open the doors to the tall rider's.

As I needed the kevlar more than the padded armor anyway (still wouldve been nice to have)
Came with 2 different knee pads. 1 was flat and the other shaped. The flat one, I formed using heat and shaped it to the same shape as the other and then noticed that they werent even the same pad at all. As a matter of fact, it was much smaller than the other. Needless to say, they wouldnt work while wearing them. As I needed the kevlar more than the padded armor anyway (still wouldve been nice to have), I am using the pants anyway. Will not buy these again.

They run small.
They are awesome. They have a lot of leg pockets for phone, wallet, etc. The only thing is they run small. All of my jeans are a 32 waist and fit great. I got these in a 32 and couldn't button them up. So I'll be returning them for a 34 or 36.Update:Got the 36's so I could fit them over my work pants and wouldn't have to change when I got to work. It has worked out perfectly for me for the last year or so.

Fantasitc motorcycle pants
Thelse are beautifully made and my husband loves them. Size wasn't 100%, but close enough. They were just a tad too big, but still easily wearable.

Far too long
These are evidently designed for people 6'6" and above. I'm average height, and the knee pads sit several inches below where they should, and the whole thing is far too long. for $90, bilt needs to offer more sizing options. The cloth also feels thin and cheap. I will be returning these.

Comfortable, looks great on
Yep, you can stop looking here, these are the motorcycle, sport riding, protective pants you want. Comfortable, looks great on, great fit and a quality pant worth every penny. Padding is sufficient without looking stupid and loads of pockets!

Good pants, but NOT to be bought online.
One of the best purchases I've ever made (considering I don't tend to take care of myself safety-wise), HOWEVER, I would not buy these online, unless you either have a lot of time to deal with exchanges, or don't mind buying a few pairs and sending back the ones that don't work... quite possibly, ALL of them.I bought these at Cycle Gear. The first pair I bought, I brought a 32 and a 30 into the changing room. The 32s were huge, and the 30s, to my surprise, actually fit nicely. Okay, they run a bit large, no biggie. They were long too, so I cuffed them.Second pair is where I noticed just how inconsistent the sizing is. I brought a 30 into the changing room just to confirm. Not a chance I could get that zip/button closed. I tried another 30, and it was a lot better. Then I was curious, so I tried a 32. It fit just like the last 30 (well), except, although it was a "Regular" 32, the legs weren't so long as to need cuffing. So, in the end, I have a pair of grey camo 30s that are a little loose in the waste and long in the leg, and a pair of black 32s that are just right around the waste (tighter than the 30s) and shorter in the leg. They both work for me and I'll likely be getting another pair in Dark Blue denim... but even THEN, the color varies so much that I thought some jeans were another color. Nope.. just variations in the dying process. I'm waiting until they have some in a tone I can stomach that are in my size.Good pants. Crappy consistency. Buy at a brick and mortar. Hope they hold up as well as they appear they should!
