D’Addario Woodwinds D'Addario Select Jazz Soprano Reed Sampler Pack, 2M/2H (DSJ-I2M)

When I use cane reeds, I love these. I so wanted to be a Vandoren person, but it just wasn't in the cards for me. I play Legere Signature synthetics because I have a dry mouth condition and can't keep cane reeds wet enough. When I do use cane, these are the best I have found.

I enjoyed the sample pack but ultimately the reeds are a little soft for my playing preferences. They seemed to sound pretty good right out of the box but I'm going back to my Vandoren Red Javas. I might one day try the RJS again, but in a firmer strength.

Reeds get too soft very fast during the first use. After trimming, still sounds flat. No sharpness what-so ever. Not recommended.

I'm pleased with this sample pack. So far they play well and feel good.

試しに買ってみましたが自分にはどれも合わず…2Hは硬すぎて2Mは柔らかすぎ。ファイルドの方が若干硬めかなと感じましたが2Mの発音はどちらもベーベー感がありました。ラボーズのMS辺りが丁度良い感じなのかなと思いますがサンプル無いのでしょうかね。

I am not complaining about the reeds as I do like them but the ones I got were pretty fragile. I put one on and it split after a hour of playing so I used another and it split just after I started to play. I assume this was just a fluke and unfortunately a bad batch.

Good reeds but very similar sound, I'd like more variety to try different sounds strengths.
