Huffy Kid's Bikes for Boys & Girls - 16" or 20" Wheel Size

Easy to assemble. My granddaughter loves this bike

Granddaughter was just learning to ride. Wanted training wheels for the bike. Couldn't find any which would fit. No help from Huffy's website either. Otherwise, everything else works. Was not horrible for son to put together. She loved the colors. But she still doesn't want to ride it because we cannot find training wheels. *sigh* Girl is just going to have to get some courage... LOL

We got this bike for my five-year-old son. The overall look of it is very nice. But when putting on the handlebars it was quite difficult. It took quite a bit of adjusting to actually get the handlebars to turn back-and-forth for him to steer the bike. There must have been some paint or some thing stopping the handlebars to turn. After some twisting and adjusting we finally got it to work. Also the petals don’t stay on that well. You have to put the petals on pretty tight for them not to be constantly falling off.

Pretty good bike. Relatively easy to put together as you are just responsible for the front tire, handlebar and pedals. I rant into an issue where the bike would make a loud clicking noise when pedaling. Happened with each turn of the chain. Did some research and found out the chain was installed too tight from the factory. Easy solution of just loosening the real wheel bolts and slight moving the wheel forward to create a bit more slack for the chain. This solved the problem. Be careful not to give too much slack for the chain or it will fall off during use.Overall a decent bike for the price. Not stellar quality but good enough for a kids bike.

I was looking for a bike for my 10 year old daughter. This bike was PERFECT. It was delivered quickly, did not have any scrapes or chips from shipping and was super easy to assemble. The only thing I will point out is that when we first received it and assembled it, it was SO TIGHT to turn but once we loosened them up on top they were totally fine. My daughter LOVES this bike and she plays like one of the boys. It has held up well. We purchased the 20 inch and it fits her perfectly. She is rather lanky and tall.

Worth the money

Purchased this bike for my 8 year old. It's a great fit, was not too hard to put together. The only issue we had was one of the brake cables came damaged and needed to be replaced. The packaging was great, so I have to believe it was damaged when it was added to the box. I don't think it could have been damaged in shipping.It shipped quickly and is a good quality for the cost.

The bike looks great, but it needs attention to detail. The brakes were definitely a pain to work with and get to work properly. When I figured out the method to get them working correctly, I realized that the instructions on this step were not written well. With regard to the wheels/tires, both were not well rounded. I'm still trying to figure out if the wheel or tire is lop sided, but on both wheels, they are visibly and physically not well rounded; when you rotate both wheels, it will rub against the brake at a half way point. Lastly, the seat post is not straight, so you have to accommodate for the slight angle. It sounds like a lot to consider from a popular name like Huffy, and it is, but all things considered, it's a decent bike. I would have expected better overall quality.
