Very handy tool for the value!
Great handy tool for all those hard to see and reach places. I was skeptical of the image quality the camera would produce but it is very clear with accurate color representation. This is no DSLR quality camera but it has a wonderful picture. The 16 foot of cable is wonderful for jobs where you may need to feed the camera into a pipe or an area out of reach. I personally used this on a sewer drain and it had great image quality in that environment. Where it lost one star was with the actual camera shape its self. If you are using this to look into pipe, you may need to play with getting it around bends. The camera tip is flat so it digs into pipe or dirty surfaces. This causes the lens to become dirty or out of focus. Nothing you can't overcome with a little fortitude. It came with some accessories like a hook attachment, a mirror attachment, A/V out cable, remote use cable( allows you to separate the screen from the handle. It does take 4 "AA" batteries and requires a microSD if you wish to record your inspection. All in all this is a great tool and asset to any DIYer, Handyman, Homeowner, or Professional.

A budget alternative that actually is on par with more expensive models
I like it a lot. It's one of those tools that you only need very so often but when you do, it's awesome. Not the most rugged device, you need to be careful with it, the optics are fragile inside. it can get a little disorienting when the tubing gets twisted and the screen gets out of kilter. I usually pull it out of where I am working and use a picture or my phone screen as a reference to either realign the camera head or rotate the screen. it has it's limitations but having tried the name brand ones from Milwaukee and Dewalt I'll say that the image quality is similar and I feel it's just as well made. The SD card does need to be inserted for some of the functions to work but that seems pretty obvioius.

Nice tool, basic in scope.
This thing was very helpful when looking into ceilings and walls for passageways to run cables. You definitely need a small Micro SD card to get this to work with all of its functions. Only thing that would be even better would be if you could steer the cable with a knob, like a real endoscope. Could even be an add-on. The coil is strong enough to hold its own weight, but it will definitely sag over 3 feet away. So, good for getting into spaces that will support the coil as you feed it in. We used it for running coax and network cable with the aid of a heavy wire snake.

What else do you want this does the job!!
I just got my device and it works as it says it should. I don't know about the other negative guys writing these reviews but...the resolution on the picture is great, the camera cable is flexible but yet rigid however it isn't like the real spendy ones high end contractors use which cost a great deal more. No it doesn't have a manual but with a little playing around with the unit you will learn how it all works or spend a lot more for one with a manual, I'd rather save the money!! It will do the job!!! Yes you need a flash card that inserts on the bottom of the unit before you slide it onto the handle. The card will be visible below this item as a suggested purchase, buy it, it's cheap. Considering what this does it's a great product for a great price. I guess we live in a time when too many bash less than perfection too bad! Expect something and appreciate what it does not what it doesn't. I'm a techie, hands on kind of guy and I think this is a great product at a great price. Buy it, use it and appreciate what this does! I'm sure you'll be satisfied or spend a lot more.

Works as advertised. On screen display looks good, also has nice pics and video when replayed on a pc or tablet. The mirror is too big to fit thru the spark plug hole on my supra but the camera goes thru ok. It seems worth the money to me. Detachable screen comes in handy and is all you need to plug into USB on PC to download pictures and video

A must have tool for the homeowner
I purchased this to locate a leak in our pool skimmer pipe, and although I couldn't see very well, it has come in handy in fishing a TV cable as well as locating some wires behind a wall. At $150, this is a steal. The reason it didn't get 5 stars was the display wasn't very good outdoors.

I am a contractor doing mold inspections and use the camera with the photo ability all the time to show clients what is going on behind their walls. Also, for personal use this came in handy many times as I was renovating my home, checking behind walls before I ran electrical and constructed built in cabinets.
