THE PUPPY HAD A SMALLER SIMILAR TOY BUT EVENTYUALLY FOUND SMALLER PARTS ON IT THAT HE COULD GRASP AND CHEW ON TO PULL IT APART.THIS HEDGEHOG IS LARGE ENOUGH THAT HE CAN'T REALLY DO THAT AND YET HE CAN STILL MAKE THAT TOY "GRUNT". THAT IS WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR AND MY REASON FOR PURCHASING IT. MOST DOG TOYS "SQUEEK" AND THIS GRUNTING SOUND SEEMS TO SPARK THE DOG'S ATTENTION MORE.
