The Bettersleep Company Luxury Candlewick Bedspread Traditional Throw-King-Natural

This is the second of one of these we have bought, for different bedrooms.The bedspread a beautifully soft and not too weighty. Even on cool nights, it provides a lovely warm covering yet on warmer nights it doesn't overheat the bed.Candlewick is thought to be a little dated these days but I think that's a real error. Beautifully fort, the bedspreads also look really good.Just one thing. Due to the production process the bedspread at first tends to shed some small cut pieces of the candlewick. Before using it we simply take it to the local laundry and have them do a short wash and dry and the problem is solved.Recommended.

I found a Diane Cowpe Geneava Kingsize Candlewick bedspread in Antique Green in a mail order catalogue but decided to check out if I could find one on Amazon a bit cheaper. I found this one which appeared to be a similar design and described as Antique Green, but at least £10 or more cheaper. When the bedspread arrived I was delighted to find that it was exactly the same brand, colour and design, so I am well chuffed with my purchase.The quality is very good and much better than the old candlewick bedspread that I am replacing. The size is perfect for my superking size wooden bed (I don't want a bedspread that touches the floor) and the colour is superb. The light green is very pretty (not quite as pale as the picture suggests) and is exactly what I wanted.Would definitely recommend and I will be purchasing a 2nd one soon.

Whilst this bedspread is lovely and cosy, a good size and is ideal over a sheet for summer, I was so disappointed with the green colour. It's called antique green which conjured up a subtle delicate appley green for me which I hope would match my new curtains that were pale green with pink rosebuds. But I would definately call it Mint...and everyone who has sen it describes it as mint. So it's completely clashed with my decor. I have kept it to use in another room as it is a very nice cover and good value for money. I have ordered the pink and hope that this will match my room better.The sleep company were very helpful and quick to respond to my complaint but said they couldn't change the colour description or picture which to me does not look the same green as the actual cover.

What a beautiful bedspread, The quality is second to none, really thick and snuggly. I have had candlewick bedspreads all my married life (48 years) and I can safely say that this one is the best by far. It is a good large size touching the floor on both sides of the bed and it washes extremely well. I received it beautifully packaged (ideal for a gift) and it arrived in less than 48 hours.

I absolutely love this traditional style candlewick bedspread, the quality is great and size just perfect for my king-size bed, and the colour Gold but I call it yellow a lovely deep yellow goes lovely in my yellow bedroom can't fault it. I washed on a full cotton cycle and tumble dried before using so as to minimise any excess fluff from the newness and there was a lot of it in the dryer filter which I emptied 3 times during drying but was well worth it as fluff isn't a problem now, delighted with this purchase.
