Nifty (Angie's Patterns Volume 10)

A wonderful book for colorists!
I stumbled upon the Patterns series by Angie Grace last year while searching for coloring books for grown-ups. I was so impressed with the first book I ordered that I've now ordered a total of five in the series.Nifty is full of intricate patterns and designs that will keep a colorist entertained for quite awhile! There are 50 different designs, each on their own dedicated page (all pages are one sided only). The paper is a good weight and quality for gel pens, colored pencils and permanent markers (I've used Sharpies, Copic & Spectrum Noir with great results). The ink from permanent markers does bleed through to the back side of the page so you will want to put a blank piece of paper behind the page you are coloring to protect the next pattern in the book.Rarely have I come across a book for colorists that I enjoy from beginning to end. Usually a book will hold only a handful of truly fun designs to color (for me anyways) so it was with great pleasure that I discovered this pattern series of books. I can honestly say that I enjoy almost every single pattern in each book. In fact, in this book there were only two patterns that didn't suit my personal tastes for coloring, and one of those became one of my favorites after I colored it in!I think the only thing that could make this particular book better is if it was spiral bound. I prefer to color in the actual books rather than copy the pages or tear them out. I like to keep my books intact so that I can save them and look through them after they are completed, and it would make it easier to color the pages, especially towards the latter half of the book, if the book was spiral bound so the book could lie completely flat while coloring. I don't know if offering the books spiral bound would cost more, but I know I personally wouldn't hesitate to pay a bit more for this option if it were to be made available.

I like these, they are a little larger and easy on old eyes

Great coloring and good for extra fine sharpie markers.
This is one of my favorite coloring books. I have several of Angie Graces books and they are all good, but this is one of the best.

Creative Coloring
Designs included are complex enough to be challenging, with the potential to create beautiful patterns. This series of coloring books for adults provides therapeutic activity and entertaining results. Good activity for developing concentration and tranquility--or just for having some colorful fun.

Another great book of Angie's
Another great book of Angie's. I love this one because it was a variety of medium to intricate designs. Great price, especially sense they take a while to color and breaking it down they're about 20 cents a page.

decent book - worth buying more from the series
Lots of great designs. Love the hand drawn feel, even though I imagine these are most probably computer replications.Complexity beginners to medium.Paper quality just about ok, although the surface could be better. Not sure how this works with pens as I use pencils.I will definitely buy more from her range.
