Pine Tree 7003 Nutsie Seed Cake, 2.75-Pound

I've purchased Pine Tree Farms Nutsie seed cakes many times. The two I received from this seller do not in any way resemble the other Nutsie seed cakes I've purchased. They seemed to be all small nuts, no big nuts at all - it looked totally different from the ones I usually buy. Both seed cake packages were partially opened. I will not buy from this seller again.

This is made of nuts - only nuts - no wasted filler or seed. Birds will pick at it, but this is the absolute favorite for squirrels, whose diet must have nuts. Peanuts aren't nuts (they are legumes) so I make sure to always have a Nutsie block available to them.

I have purchased Pine Tree Farms products for several years and find them all to be high quality and aren't filled with junk seed like so many other bird seed products. My birds all love their seed cakes which last quite a while saving you from constantly refilling your loose seed feeders. My birds especially like the Nutsie as it has a wide variety of nuts and attracts many nut and seed eaters. A surprise bonus is that it keeps our woodpeckers busy and away from our house!

The birds won't eat it. Even the squirrels stayed away from it.

At what appears to be nearly twenty dollars ($20) for one Pine Tree Farms "Nutsie" Seed Cake, I'm wondering who would be foolish enough to pay nearly twice the amount charged by my local nursery in this upscale NJ community?
