Nic Bishop: Lizards

The book was in good condition. Great buy for money.My grandson loves all kinds of animals and he asked for a new lizard book for Christmas.

When I received this book it had a library sheet in the back. I thought I was buying a new book The pages were fine but I was disappointed that it wasn’t new as it was a gift

The pages upon pages of clearly presented facts make this book a gem for little boys, libraries, and homeschool. The stars of this book however are the photographs. Wow! My son loves this book and so do I. This is not the first Nic Bishop book I have purchased and it won't be the last.

I liked it so much I accidentally ordered it twice. Well, some lucky kid will get a nice birthday gift. Nic Bishop's books are the best!

I bought this book for a 13 year old boy on his birthday. He really prefers video games so I am not real sure about his reaction to this book. I thought he might enjoy it since he owns a lizard. I loved the book. It is well written and the photos are beautiful.I would recommend this book.

THIS BOOK WAS PURCHASED AS A GIFT FOR A 17 YEAR OLD AND HE LOVED IT!!HE OWNS A LIZARD AND HE GOT EXCITED ABOUT INFO ON SO MANY OTHER LIZARDS.THE PICTURES ARE SO NICE, EACH COULD BE HUNG ON HIS WALL OR FRAMED.

Nic Bishop is the ridiculously talented author and photographer of such wonderful books as "Butterflies and Moths," "Spiders," and "Frogs". He's done it again with this breath-taking book of the cool and bizarre world of lizards.Bishop's book has plenty of information about lizards in general, star species such as the camouflaging chameleons and walk-on-water Basilisks, and some species you've probably never heard of, but really should. Like the rest, this book is painstakingly researched and photographed. The text is wonderful, and the "behind the scenes" notes he puts on the end are like icing to a delicious (yet surprisingly good for you) cake.Yes, I'm gushing about this book and its author. It's big enough and pretty enough to be a coffee table book, but with the superior writing style of a great children's author. With its great balance of detail and clarity (and, I can't say it enough -- amazing pictures), it's a great choice for any kid who gigs reptiles. Adults will learn something, too.

Came in good condition - as described.Great book! Needed it for a children's literature class but then gave it to my nephew who loves it!
