First off, I realize everyone's opinion on bass strings can be different, but considering my playing style and music preferences, (jazz, blues, classic rock) I can't stand round wounds. I've tried them, but the string noise and sandpaper affect on my fingers drove me nuts! Enter these Fender light gauge flatwounds - no string noise and smooth as ice!I love the sound. They're warm, but also have a distinctive clarity that definitely cuts through. Because of the low tension compared to heavier gauge stings, they are easy on the fingers and are a breeze to play. I was so impressed with these Fender Flatwounds, I put them on all my bass guitars. Highly recommended!

È già la seconda volta che acquisto queste corde lisce per basso di Fender.Questa volta le ho prese per montarle su un basso di stampo prettamente vintage molto economico, e queste corde sono ottime perché garantiscono delle ottime prestazioni per un prezzo che è il più basso disponibile tra le Flatwound di marca.Leggermente brillanti appena montate, ma le caratteristiche tipiche delle corde Flatwound ci sono tutte, suono più caldo, e con meno attacco e sustain rispetto alle corde ruvide, inoltre la tensione delle corde e la loro durezza non è tanto superiore a delle normali corde ruvide.Ho già acquistato in passato corde lisce dal prezzo ancora più basso, ma non sono neanche lontanamente paragonabili a queste di Fender, per cui le consiglio soprattutto a chi cerca una muta di corde Flat per avvicinarsi al suono di questo tipo di corde senza svenarsi (dato che spesso costano di più delle normali corde Round) e poter provare questo suono oppure per montarle su strumenti entry level e muletti.
