How to help me understand the needs of the elderly.
I read this book many years ago and remembered how it touched me so I reordered it and am reading it again. I have a relative in a senior living and it helps me understand the needs of the residents.A heart warming story.

Magnificent Book
I’m in the car a lot so I like to listen to books on Audible but this one had me so captivated that I bought the Kindle edition. So, I could read it outside the car! I couldn’t put it down!

Very engaging.
A true picture of the challenges, sorrows, and joys of family life. Loving Jesus doesn't necessarily mean smooth sailing but in some mysterious ways, He works things for good.

Remember... Making My Own Decisions
I only read this book because I have joined a Book Club and this was one of the Books on the list. I had really been dreading it because a very good friend of mine had told me that she refused to read any of these (Kingsbury) books because she thought that they were way too preachy. I did put it off until the last Minute really dreading it. But it hooked me right away. I found it a wonderful book. I didn't agree with everyone in it but then I don't agree with everyone in a James Patterson book either. I will read the the series of books because I want to know what happens in all their lives. A good book for me. Kept me interested and introduced me to many different attitudes.

I loved it!
This book and this series was something that I so enjoyed. The story pulls you into the family and the trials that they go through, you can relate to them. Through this book and series, I was reminded of all the awesome things that God can do in our lives, and even when they don't turn out the way we want them, God is still loving us and in control. I read all 14 of the Baxter books in 30 days and was so sad when I finally finished the last book. However, I have moved on to the "Above the Line" series and it is nice that we still get peeks of the Baxter family. I had borrowed several of these books from the library when I was reading them, but I think that I will actually end up buying them for my Kindle so I can read them again. It's definitely a keeper and I would recommend it to anyone, especially those who are going through tough times and need to be reminded of the hope in Jesus Christ.

Spiritual
This book is the best book I read in a long time. It is sad, happy and uplifting. Karen Kingsbury knows how to take a Bible verse and put it into every day life through the Baxter family. I read the first book in the Sunrise Series and decided to start at the beginning to get to know the Baxter family and have a better understanding. You do not have to start with the first series, which is the Redemption Series, I just did this for myself. I mother and sister read all of the series for the Baxter family and loved it. You get to know and love each character and realize that bad things happen to good people also, but God is always there to take care of you and make miracles happen. Love, love her books.

Love this series!
I was lost amongst the many choices in a bookstore one afternoon after deciding I needed to spend more time reading when I pulled out my phone and went on Facebook for quick advice. I wanted to read something in Christian fiction. All my friends responded with a variety of replies, but Katen Kingsbury' Redemption series won above them all, and I have not been disappointed! The Baxter family, as one friend out it, was my 2nd family, living through their heartaches and struggles & victories! Equally loved by my husband AND 10 yr old - nojoke! They're like real people with real faith (some firm, some struggling, some running) LUV it so much!

convicting read
I especially liked this book because of the way it depicts AShley and Luke's rejection of their parents faith. I have siblings with similar positions and it helped me to better understand how they might be thinking and feeling, and how to love them better. It was good to get an American perspective on the September 11 tragedy. I am English therefore didn't appreciate how deeply felt and widespread the devastation was before reading this book. I enjoyed this book more than the first in the series as AShley is a more believable character than Kari, and much of the book centers around Ashley this time. I also loved reading the dialogue between the Alzheimer's patients! Hilarious and heartwarming!

I liked that it was actually "like new" as described in the ad. I have enjoyed reading it and have donated it to my local Church library. Thanks.
