Light, quality, packable, flexible; but not for thick calves
I usually wear a US8/EU39 with regular shoes, but thought I would go up one size with these because I figured if I were going to wear it during colder seasons, I would want the little extra room. These boots are lightweight and foldable. When I've gone to work on days where rain was predicted, I shoved these into a regular-sized shoe bag and stuffed it into my backpack. A teeny bit bulky in my backpack, but fit just fine otherwise. I bust them out to wear home when it started raining. They were perfect. No leaks, light, just snug enough, and even though I didn't use the drawstrings, it's great that there is the option to tighten and loosen them when needed.I did a lot of research on rainboots, and I was originally looking to buy the Chooka packables. I chose to go with these instead because of the boot shaft size. I have very skinny legs, so I hate wearing rainboots that my legs are swimming in. I was a bit apprehensive about the color; I don't normally like to wear bright-colored shoes. I usually stick to blacks, browns, sometimes whites or golds. I didn't feel confident enough for the yellow, and the black was too boring. I was also worried the red ones would sort of look like "Superman boots," but I definitely didn't feel like that wearing them!Sure these boots might be a bit pricey, but they are worth the money. Good quality, well-made boots that are light, packable and comfortable. Couldn't ask for a better pair of rainboots.

They keep your feet dry!
Getting a lot of compliments on my navy colored boots! 👢 They are very classy! They are a little too snug across the toes for me, but I'll just wear thinner socks. They are very comfortable for walking, and the soles are rough on the bottom, so no slipping! Also, MY RAINCOAT GOT WET, BUT MY FEET WERE DRY!

Extremely comfortable. Thanks to the very flexible material
Extremely comfortable. Thanks to the very flexible material, the sides of the boot do not hit and hurt the front of your legs when you walk, like most of the other brands. I am planning to use them for gardening and other outdoor chores when the weather warms up. They are good looking and very light weight. I ordered the navy ones; the shade is very subdued. I wish they would have been darker and brighter, like the red and yellow ones.

Super cute and stylish light weight rainboot!
This yellow rainboot is completely awesome! It is so stylish and cute. The fit is pretty snug and it is true to size. I wear a C width and was able to fit into the shoe. I want to buy another one for a friend of mine who is the same size as myself. I noticed on Amazon that another company on their website 6 PM has lowered their price by $11 for a size 38EU/7B, making their price much cheaper than Amazon.com. It would be nice of Amazon could price match them, or even beat their price! If you are looking for a cute light rain boot, this is the one! Just be a little careful that your calves are not too big as the opening might be a bit tight for you.

My feet get wet
Super cute, TONS of compliments comfortable enough for what they are... but after walking to my car in the rain, my feet were damp, which defeats the purpose. They weren't soaked, better than wearing canvas sneakers, but they certainly weren't as dry as using standard rubber wellies/galoshes. So I'm uncertain how often I'll wear these. Most likely for times it "may" rain a bit and I have to be out for a while, but not if it IS raining on my way to work. Wet feet all day is what I'm trying to avoid.

Check for the boot inserts
I loved these boots, their rubber construction, the string that allows me to tighten the gap around the ankle, the navy color that is dark enough to look black (no black available in this model). I was ready to return them, however, because they fit too snug and I could tell that I would regret buying them after even a short walk. While repacking the boots I felt around inside and found inserts--removed them and now the size 7's that were too snug are much roomier and will accommodate winter socks. Maybe those of you who are familiar with rainboots would have known to check for inserts. This is actually my first pair of rainboots as I live in CA where we unfortunately get too little rain. I'm thrilled with my purchase and looking forward to my trip to Portland where you can usually count on some rain.

NOT FOR THICK CALVES (or wide feet)
Want to love these, and if my calves were smaller, I would. I usually wear a size 8. I ordered up because of the reviews. They just barely fit around my calves, but since they have a drawstring and are supposed to look "not tight" on your calves, I won't wear them often. They are also narrow. The 8 would probably fit, the nines are a bit too long, and barely wide enough for my feetPros: Come up high on leg.flexiblenice saturated colorCONS: made for skinny calvesI am a size 12 pants, and 5'7" tall. My calves are muscular and shapely, not thin and straight.made for Narrow feet

I love the way these look
Disappointed. I love the way these look. I even found a you tube video of someone wearing them and they looked great. The ones i got, first of all, have bits of paper stuck to them, probably from being in the box too long and some moisture getting in. They fit well, but something about the angle didn't work for me because i have plantar faciitis (i always forget how to spell that) so i felt pain almost right away. Also there is NO cushion in the foot. At all. And they are very heavy boots. Another issue i had, which was very disappointing, is that when i pull the drawstring tight, it makes ripples, which doesn't bother me visually, but it creates little openings where water and the rest of nature can come in. i know most rain boots are open at the top anyway but that is one of the things i was excited about. Didn't work out. Ill either return them, or give them away. Too add something positive, the lining on the inside feels nice, and they slip on easy. My foot is 9inches and the size 8 is just right. Enough room in the toe for thick socks, but not too big when wearing with thin ones. They feel like good quality boots. well made, just didn't work for my preferences.

Still love my Tretorns three years later!
I love my Tretorn rain boots. I’ve been using them for over three years now and they are still completely waterproof and in great shape. They are much more comfortable and flexible than Hunters boots. Love them!

Very nice looking boots
Very nice looking boots! I am returning as they don't have as much tread as I like in a rain boots but they look and feel awesome! Very slim to the leg but not constricting and the material of the calf of the boot is just great! Perfect for just light jaunts about town.
