The special Diamond grip pattern enables the tire chain to have more contact with the road surface, resulting in improved traction and skid control, while reducing vibration and noise. Vibration reduction is very important for maximum vehicle control and comfort on front wheel drive vehicles. BikeBatts “S” Class Diamond Grip tire chains are constructed from 12 MM square steel stock links for close clearance applications. Unlike tire chains made from round stock steel, the square corners on BikeBatts chain links provide gripping edges enabling the tire chains to grip into snow and ice. BikeBatts Diamond pattern tire chains incorporate a clam shell design enabling the chains to be installed without trying to drive your vehicle onto the chains, or laying on the ground. Designed and intended for On Road use only. Tires are manufactured to a 7% allowable deviation in dimensions for a given tire size. As a result if the tire chains can’t be tightened to a snug fit it may be necessary to use add-on tire chain tensioners for some applications.
