Paperback is of poor quality, but content is great!
Book started falling apart as I was reading it. Pages literally came unglued from binding and fell out one by one. The content of the book, however, is great. Highly recommend the whole Sackett series.

Sacketts Book 1
Exciting book. Highly recommended book to read. This book had one adventure after another. I found it hard to put down. This book can be enjoyed by all.

Great literary work
Riveting prose in true Louis L'Amour style. The flow of words keep you wanting to read further into the story, eager to see what is going to happen next.

Amazing read
The book makes you feel like you're there through the whole story. Makes you want to time travel back and join in on the adventure.

Good story
I thought this was a badly formatted book and I left a review to say so. Then I started my next book and found the same bad formatting. I checked some more books and they're the same.It seems that the new Paperwhite, or maybe the new Firmware, when you use wide margins, like I do, makes paragraphs almost indistinguishable. This was never true till a few weeks ago. When I set the margins to narrow all is well. Paragraphs are properly indented. But I've been reading with wide margins for years because I read faster that way. It's always worked well in my Kindles till now. Now it makes reading very difficult. Here's my original review, which I incorrectly applied to the book:I bought this because I was reading it on another vendor's ereader and enjoying it but I wasn't sure I was reading a legal copy. I was really enjoying the book and I wanted to feel good about it and it seemed like something I might want to read again in the future. However, on the Kindle version there is only a barely visible indentation at the start of a paragraph and no blank line between paragraphs and I was finding it very difficult to know who was talking and when paragraphs ended. It was bad enough I doubted I'd finish the book even though I was enjoying the story.I got hold of the other copy on the other reader and went back to reading that. I did pay for the Kindle version so if the one I'm reading isn't a legitimate copy I don't feel bad about it. But I feel like I've been cheated a little since I paid for something that badly put together.Anyway I'm back on the other reader and enjoying the book again. It's an unusual and interesting story. Enough so that I bought the first 3 books in the series on the Kindle. I hope the others aren't so badly formatted.Barry

The book is very small as is the print. The print and general appearance is not what I expect for £4.50. I won't be buying anymore books from this firm

Wonderul story.
A superb book by a much missed author. The beginning of the Sackett saga and a must for those who, like me, have read all the others.
