OK for a quick curry, contains mix of all basic required spices.
I usually make my currys from scratch, including grinding and mixing spices. This can be time consuming if you are in a hurry. This Madras powder although cannot be compared to individually ground fresh spices, does basically what it says on the packet. It's fine on its own, got everything in, and no other spices are needed to make a quick curry if you are in a rush, and just want to throw some basic ingredients in the pan.

Not too hot, tastes great and value for money
I was a little concerned about ordering Madras but this is is not too hot. Just a bit of a bite really. The Cumin is obvious, which I like. Overall for the cost I'll definitely be reordering. The flavours are great. You won't be disappointed ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Exceptional value for the money. I'm not a curry specialist. There might be more salt than any other curry I've ever remember testing....But still remains a good stuff for a novice like who loves spicy ingredients since childhood.

Smells greats!
Delivered quick by prime.Product is in a resealable clip bag. As soon as you open the smell hits you!This is described as medium but is on the hot side of medium so you don't need to add to much to you dishes.Highly recommended.

Not a good taste.
Really disappointed with taste and feel I have completely wasted funds on this item, alongside three other curry powders that I thought would be significantly different from each other. None were good. I should have stuck with making my own which taste sooo much better.

Yet another great product from Old India
This is a quality curry and at a very good price - yet another product from Old India we bought.It is very tasty, somewhere in between medium and mild - just about right.Recommended!

Great store cupboard essential. Excellent price for large amount. Make sure you have a large container to store.

Good staple.
Good overall mix including enough Haldi. You might wish to add to it for more flavour, but great as a base note/substitute if you are low on time or don't want 20 packets of spice in your cupboard.
