I bought ten of these as the price was not much more than buying 2 of a competitor ( I only needed two to wire up a UPS at home). These arrived very promptly and were fit for purpose. A good buy.

Dont bother using the screw terminals. It's awful. Solder the wires in. Much neater and safer!

I ordered a pack of these. They are DANGEROUS. There is no way of securely attaching the wires to the pins. Each pin has a screw whose head is only marginally wider than the shaft. This means there is no way for the wire to be gripped. I cannot believe these pass any safety certification because of this. I returned them for a refund and ordered some from Toolstation. These were also wires to go under the screws but there was a metal plate under the screw head to allow the wire to be securely clamped.I don't believe thee should be on sale in the UK.

These sockets are quite good quality however they are missing the captive cable washer under the screw and, as such, they can only be used with soldered connections. Be prepared to have to solder the connections after sanding or filing the plating off the contact material. In my opinion, they actually pose a hazard if an attempt to use the screws to secure the cable connection is made. The rotation of the screw will cause the ejection of most of the strands from under the screw. A connection may remain with one or two strands of cable held captive under the screw which is unacceptable especially if the connector is going to be used at full load. With the correct washers supplied, this product would get five stars.

For this price it's quite ok. BUT. You need to know what you are doing because this product may be dangerous!There is no chance to use any crimp connectors because there is simply not enough space - terminals are very close, screw heads are almost the same size as the pins. The only way that worked for me was to make a loop of the cable around the screw, solder it and then screw it on. Pins are quite thin and made of quite soft metal (additionally, they are twisted right next to the terminal), so I had to insert plug into the socket while tightening the screws to prevent pins from bending.

De manier waarop de draden in de connector moeten worden geschroeft is zeer onveilig met kans op losraken en kortsluiting. Zeker geen aanrader.

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, per il numero considerevole di spine IEC. Consiglio di saldare il cavo di corrente ai vari connettori per una connessione più salda. Forma regolare che si adatta perfettamente agli ingressi standard delle prese IEC femmina. Molto contento.

Manque les 3 de serrage sur une fiche. Cette fiche est donc inutilisable.

Um zu vermeiden, dass die Kabelenden aus der Halterung gedrückt werden sollte man wie gesagtRingzungen verwenden. Allerdings ist auch wenig raum da für die Aufnahme, der Stecker könnte länger sein.
