New Trombone Handle by Instrument Innovations

This kit is very well-made, but there is no installation help whatsoever. I have a stock 42B I was unable to install the kit in a way that took any pressure off my hand and didn’t block the trigger. I returned it.

Took some fumbling to get it right but everything needed to assemble is provided in the kit with clear instructions and contact information.

The company is great. I didn't have to guess whether I would prefer the S or the C shape - they included both, along with a wide assortment of padding for the thumb. My only concern is the tendency of the brace to loosen. Keep the enclosed screwdriver handy!

I purchased both the clamp and the whole kit for two different instruments, a dual-valve bass and a single-valve tenor. The Ax Handle is a great product, and Mike and Kim do a great job with customer service. I also use a Bullet Brace on a third horn, and find the Ax Handle performs just as well, and has greater flexibility in the options that Mike includes with his package - you get both a C and S arm, as well as a variety of handle covers, and a superior tool for tightening the screws. I have had no issues with either the clamps or the arms slipping, and neither have required readjustment after being applied. Would absolutely buy another if needed, and would recommend to friends for purchase.
