Haven’t been robbed yet. Yet.

First, this is not going to stop anyone from stealing the contents — the canvas isn't even thicker than a denim jacket. This is 100% a deterrent.The lock seems robust enough, but the zipper is pretty cheaply made.Overall, the item seems decent and did the trick for my needs (protecting cash through TSA checks while airplane traveling). But I feel like either more care could be put into the material choice, or the price should be lowered.A thicker canvas, a better zipper and this is easily a 4-star item. Improve the lock and it's 5. Or, lower the price to somewhere around $10-$12 and the rating goes up.

I would purchase again. Thick, heavy canvas. Solid zipped and lock. Recognize this is not a sage or strong box, but a means for safe storage and transport of valuables. I like it for transport of valuables at the airport, going through TSA.

Earlier, I wrote about the larger locking bag thinking that the question was about that one. But, the question was regarding this bag. So, my response would be, if your notary book is smaller than the dimensions of this bank bag you should be okay.
