Telling Time Pocket Flash Cards

These flash cards were a birthday gift (along with other items) since I have gotten to realize that telling time on these older clocks can be difficult now for kids who are rarely exposed to these types of clocks and watches. Even though I may not know how much an improvement that it makes in this child's education, I know that he will benefit a great deal more by having these cards around than he would without them. His mom will probably let me know in time if it did make a difference for him in his class.

I bought these fpash cards for my grand kids and they are a great learning tool. My 5 year olds are quite fond of them.

I've bought four sets of these for teaching my kids (who have a tendency to destroy flash cards), I think, and of the couple different types I've looked at, these are the best. There are a couple problems, though. These only cover quarter-hours, but they do cover all of them. They have a few extra cards to round out the set (12:05, 12:10, 12:20, 12:25) but not enough to cover the whole day. On the whole, this isn't too bad.But the last couple sets I ordered, one set was just like the others, the other had the sorting notch in the lower-left corner. (The cards have a corner with a larger diameter rounded out to make sorting them easier.) So I'm not sure how good the quality control is.

My granddaughter is 8 and these cards made her see the pattern of time telling very quickly.

Great cards, would have liked more cards for telling time to the minute.

I found these cards very useful when learning time with my daughter. They are very handy for telling time and time elapsed when using two cards at a time. The only minor disappointment is the cards are mainly for on the hour, half past, quarter past and quarter to. There are very few (I think about 4) cards that show 5 min past etc. However when the child gets to that stage, you probably won't need to use those cards much anyway. So yes. Would highly recommend when learning time.
