Good colour and easy to fit, because of its offset end fittings. Was used in a dimmable uplighter in house, produced only a small hum but still glowed when turned to off. It was hardly noticable because it was a tall mobile light stand, but it is a consideration.

Received it today, it is much dimmer than the halogen bulb it was to replace. Lo and behold checking the power consumption using a power meter (as shown) indicates it is only a 20W bulb.Also there is no CE or any description on the bulb, unlike what is shown in ad's photos.If I had wanted a c20W bulb, I would have bought the osram 17.5W one.

I replaced a 300W uplighter bulb with this. Only had to remove a cover clip to get it in. Despite its size, the connections are designed to fit in place of a glass bulb.

Works very well ... with a hive motion detector it illuminates instantly unlike the previous hologram types

Just what I wanted really happy I hope it lasts a while we will soon see but it works fine in my spot light with no issues

Great product, bright and warm. Maybe a little bulky, but fits my uplighter well. I imagine ideal for a security light.
